I talked to Caleb tonite at the St. Louis show. brought up his guitar and how much i like it, caleb said that gibson is making a signature guitar an exact remake of his es325.........how fuckin badass is that...............i also asked him why he switched to Matchless amps... it was simply because they're playing bigger venues now and that with the AC15's he couldnt hear himself over the other guys.....he also said that he still has all the AC15's and records with them

That man doesn't deserve a signature guitar. lol Hendrix deserved a signature guitar!
That's pretty cool though. Its only probably gonna be $300,000 (not really)
I'd love to buy myself one though...

Awesome. That 325 is fucking cool, and the little NY mini pick ups sound awesome.
Seems a little strange that he's getting a signature guitar though. It's not like he's a guitar virtuoso (no offense intended) like you said up there, like Hendrix or something, or Eric Clapton or I dunno heaps of other rnadom shredding bastards.. Or like even Jack White or something.
But hey, they gave Tom Delonge a signature 335 so, stranger things have happened!

hmm...just when I was thinking I needed to start looking for a new semihollow...but judging by the price of the Nick Valensi Epiphone signature, a Gibson signature is going to be a little out of my price range.

I think Matthew plays a Sheraton. Is a sheraton good for rock? I'm looking for a hollow body as well, but don't know much about guitars.

The riviera would be closer to the sound of caleb's because of the mini humbuckers that it comes with, they give out a more twangy trebely sound than the regular humbuckers like the 57'
