Hello, I'm new to this forum and a huuuge fan of KOL like everyone else on here. I went to see them twice on their UK tour and was slightly uneased when I went to see them in Manchester. I have complete faith in the band and think they're great but when the roadies were setting up for their performance I saw a guy holding a bunch of CD's and going away to the side possibly to load them up, I don't think he ever came out of that corner.
Now I know of bands who play over a CD when playing live (coz they're not that great sounding live) and I really wish this isn't the case for KOL. Anyone else see this guy?? Can someone reassure me that KOL don't play over a CD!! :'(

definateley not true cus in brum jareds bass bust and no sound was coming out the amp. a roadie had to bring him a new one after a while of trying to find what was wrong. which would definateley not happen on a cd!

Also in glasgow Jareds bass was giving to much feedback during Trani. So they definately dont use Cds

No worries in that respect with KOL. |

no way would Kings of Leon play along to a CD....
they record their albums live so where would be the point in that....also....u can hear the difference between live and recorded...it wud b panned etc etc and theres a massive difference anyways
im still amazed kings of leon have never won an award for best live band or something

The Kings DO NOT play over prerecorded music. They are talented enough to where they don't have to. Shit like that is for people like Britney Spears and Ashlee Simpson. LOL! The Kings are musicians. They're the REAL DEAL. They most likely were just mix cds that are played between sets like the previous poster said. I have seen them enough times to know that they play live. I am a musician as well and can tell that kind of stuff. Have faith in the boys.  |
