He said it's his easiest song in an interview, which as he stated is hard to believe, but seeing him perform it makes me thing otherwise. He gets a lovely shade of red in the face and his jaws contorts in all shapes and forms that seem unnatural. Good fun.

I really like Charmer. It is reminiscent of The Pixies, which is one of my favorite bands. When I first heard it, the screaming scares the shit out of me just because I was not expecting that from KOL.

Yeah I have this great pic of Caleb on teh screen at Bonnaroo during Charmer and he really looks like he is in pain! But I do adore that song. First time I heard it I was a little taken aback, but I really love it now! And I blast it in my car as well :-) I just adore his voice and i can tell a difference from Y&YM and ASH, his voice changed, but I stil love it. That raspiness . . .yes please!

i found the Charmer screaming kinda disconcerning at first, but after having listened to it more times i realised it's a great "let-it-out" song. I was very much looking forward to listening to that live, and i was not let down. The screaming me and my friend did to follow Caleb's in Holland last week was soooo entertaining. Of course everyone around us thought we were weird and insane. But the screams is a great way of joining in the fun  oh and about the raspiness of Caleb's voice, it's definitely become much more melodic, but i do think they need that quality too in their music. And eventually , smoking would destroy his voice, so uh-huh |

this song is my absolute favourite, even loved it the first time round, though was woried my ma wud cum in like "wtf"! can u not just feel the energy flowing through it! i recently heard it performed live and i was nearly dying from the excitement! love calebs screaming, his voice is amazing!!! luv the boy  |

Ridiculous post but what the hell! Who burst out laughing the first time they heard 'charmer' and in particular the screaming vocals. Hillarious! Every time I play the track in the car I can see dogs cocking their ears as I drive past, he gets that high! Still...absolutely awesome! She's such a charmer...oh no! lmao wen i first heard it i laffed but its really cool aswell my mam heard it from downstairs and comes running up like "omg are u okay?" and im like yeh its just caleb lmao so i played it to her and shes been walking about the house doing it kinda jarring shes ruining the song for me lmao |

Yeah I agree it must be tough to kick out that screaming EVERY NIGHT on tour. I guess the guys didn't analyse what they were doing in the studio. I mean that's what I love about KOL - no limits. They do what they do - no logic you know. They're not trying to please anyone only themselves really - although I'm sure the notoriety is kinda cool for a while but to me I don't think I could handle being in the weird celeb spotlight that goes on in our crazy world today. Oh and another thing what was with Caleb and Kim Stewart. Does anyone else find that a weird pairing?  ? |
