The taste all I ever needed All I ever wanted too dumb to surrender She shakes like the morning railway Checking me out with someone on her shoulder
The lamp flickers in the bedroom She must feel as awkward Whorehouse Arizona
And I go Stand up to a giant Say that I'm a fighter Too drunk to remember
My face laying on the pavement Tasting something awful I hate it when that happens
And she waves Thinking that it's sexy She must be plum crazy I kind of think I like her Kind of think I do

This song makes way more sense when you know the lyric is whorehouse arizona - I never picked that up until I read it on the album cover

Hadnt read the lyrics in the inside cover of the cd... One word... 'FILTHY'! And that to me, just like the stones, is one of the best things about KOL. Filthy sleezy guys, my favourite!

I love that line in Arrested Development form Lucille the snobby mother - ' I'd rather be dead in california, than alive in Arizona '

this song is my favorite track on the new cd. it's one of those tracks that I can listen to at night camping while my friends and I stargaze and drink beer, maybe shoot the shit.

I jammed this song nonstop today in my car. I plan to do the same thing for the camping trip. It's like a nonchalant story of a crazy lady that he's into. I assume "she" does it well since he's too dumb to surrender. Then again, I might be off alot. Nevertheless, the feeling of the song triggers a musical nerve inside me that puts a strain on my soul and relays a powerful rhythm. It's hard to explain?

I love the desert and he says whorehouse arizona, what's not to love about this song!?!?! Yeah I drove up to Las Vegas this last weekend with Because of the Times playing most of the way. I love driving long distances on the highway, but oh my god that album made the drive really beautiful--especially Arizona. I can't wait to hear it live. Haha I even felt bad ass driving in my little Corolla while listening to Camaro then I realized I was going well over 80 mph and decided to slow the hell down.

this song reminds of a girl I know named Ellie. She's so creative, funny, independant, strong and someone you can talk to. I haven't seen her in weeks and I think she is a red headed military goddess. I kind of think I like her....

i LOVE those last two lines
I kind of think I like her Kind of think I do
its so sweet and honest which i think stops the song sounding sleazy, not easy when its about a whorehouse
