even though this thread is old, i wanna bring it back cause i just have to say how much im amazed at this song. "my third house" is easily the best song on BOTT except it's not on there. if they ever re-release the album, this song should be on it. this is matthew's best performance, caleb's voice is so raw, of course drums, bass...everything. it is kinda reminiscent of the beatles or something like that. it's a classic, instantly. i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it's my favorite KOL song of all time. you know that petition to play "ragoo" live, i'd much rather hear "my third house" live. can you imagine? god, i'd cry. this song is too good not to show it off! anyways, yes. i'm in love with it. can't decipher all the lyrics but i'm pretty sure it's "you blow me away when you don't try" and i'm so curious to know what all that talking is at the end. and why is it called "my third house??" I agree with you whole heartedly,girl!! Everything you said is totally true! Matt's shining moment. I also agree with what someone else said up there about it picking up where My Party left off,thats probably why i love both these songs so much,theyre similar. And i'd be crying right along with ya if they played it live! I think i'd be freaking out so bad that i'd have no memory of it even happening  I dont know why it's called My Third House,i dont know why a lot of KOL songs are called what theyre called |

I love this song so much! It's definately in my top 5 KOL songs! The guitar is just wow and Caleb's vocals are amazing! I don't get why they decided to leave it off the album, but in some ways I liked discovering My Third House it's like a hidden gem! I wish they would play it live though, because it's such an amazing song it's a shame not to! How amazing would it sound live - that guitar?!  I would love to know what they are saying in the background though - all I can hear is Caleb say 'chapped lips' 'it's the cool kids ya know?' 'Caleb!' and his manic laughter plus I think I can hear Matt and maybe someone else saying 'Have a nice day' |

Such an unbelievable track!!
Completely blew me away when I first heard it, a genuine holy shit moment!!
Had it on constant repeat for weeks after I got it!
Truly the best example of Matthew's endless talent!! Hearing it live would complete my life!!
