You can only download live stuff here now.If you want, you can buy the On Call single at Amazon, or through website. You can even find it on EBay. I bought mine at Amazon. |

hell yeah this is great! sb definitely says "Chad Smiths" towards the end. I don't see the Chillis resemblance at all though, it's much more electric than the funk that the Chillis have accustomed us with. It sounds like the natural evolution of My Party, if u ask me  It's great , Caleb and Jared are totally rocking it, it totally sounds like a dialogue between voice and bass. I'm always amazed at Caleb's performance, sigh |

even though this thread is old, i wanna bring it back cause i just have to say how much im amazed at this song.
"my third house" is easily the best song on BOTT except it's not on there. if they ever re-release the album, this song should be on it.
this is matthew's best performance, caleb's voice is so raw, of course drums, bass...everything. it is kinda reminiscent of the beatles or something like that. it's a classic, instantly.
i'm gonna go out on a limb and say that it's my favorite KOL song of all time.
you know that petition to play "ragoo" live, i'd much rather hear "my third house" live. can you imagine? god, i'd cry. this song is too good not to show it off!
anyways, yes. i'm in love with it.
can't decipher all the lyrics but i'm pretty sure it's
"you blow me away when you don't try"
and i'm so curious to know what all that talking is at the end.
and why is it called "my third house??"

I'm probably wrong, but I always thought "My Third House" coupled with the lyrics about "showed you my cars" was about the forutune they had amassed. Bit gangstarrrr tough.

is it like hidden on there or something?
I've never like listened to the cd itself,
I just put it on my ipod right away
and that's the only way i've heard it.

I really don't think the lyrics being posted up on any of the lyrics sites are 100% accurate. (I can safely say that my Monday was dedicated to searching for the right lyrics. Crazy loser with too much time on her hands or dedicated fan?) I am listening to this song right now,and literally right when i saw your post,he said "chad smith" in the song!! Wow,talk about a coincidence! I was just listening to this song cuz i mentioned this song in another thread and then i saw that someone posted about it just now so i had to come read the whole thing,i might have posted in here already though cuz i FUCKING LOVE TIHS SONG SO MUCH I COULD MAKE LOVE TO IT!!! lol I kinda want to say its my favorite but i love Closer and My Party too much,but this is definately in the top 3! Matt's guitar in it blows me away,its just awesome all around. Shoulda been on the album. |
