He must help with them Probably they ask him for opinion & write songs together (black thumbnail had some different things when caleb sung live past year - then in studio Angelo change with kings some parts to record - thats one possibility)  |

It's not flaming when it's the truth, he does get co-writing credits on the albums. It would be flaming if I said that means they suck because of that or something.

no one seems to understand why it's called CO-writing... this means that he's helped the guys in the process of writing the songs. if Angelo wrote the songs, it would say "songs written by Angelo" on the album.
also, electricrussia, you obviously have no idea of what a producer's job is. I can tell you, it's not writing songs. that's what songwriters do.

I didn't accuse you of flaming did I? Its a classic tactic on the subject of Angelo to infer that he ghost wrote the all the songs by himself and that the Kings are his little puppets. Which is blatently un-true but has been used be Trolls since time in memorial to try and piss us all off. I don't think he writes the songs for the guys. Angelo is a very talented and accomplished songwriter who has been an integral part of the production team along with Ethan Johns to help the Kings of Leon be their very best. Angelo has been writing songs in Nashville since he moved here in the early 90's and has had many major artists record his songs. I'm sure the guys have been mentored and have been helped alot from him with their songwriting over the years. Angelo and Ethan are a great production team and their skills along with the band's abilities have been the perfect combo for making all the great KOL recordings to date. I hope they never change a thing...
