JUst wondering is there is one song by KOL or many that oyu always skip, seeing that idont have BOTT yet i'd say from YYMH its Genius ( i just don't like that guitar riff throughout it). In AHA though, i like every song but ifi had to pick one it would be Soft ...

i don't not like any of their songs..
me and the lead guitarist in my band were having this conversation the other day... and we came to the conclusion that all K.O.L songs are frekin' good.
some...are good...and some are frekin' awesome...
but at worst good.

Trani and Dusty on YAYM. I do like these songs but when I listen to the album all the way through, they interrupt the generally energetic flow. ASH - Velvet Snow and Where Nobody Knows. They are definitely the weakest songs both on the album and overall.

I agree that there really aren't any bad songs across their records, but the song I've definitely listened to the least is Velvet Snow just because it doesn't seem to quite match the quality of all the other songs. It's still good, but it doesn't stand out as muich as the others.

Rememo is up there with my favourites! Someone said about trani, I like it, but I feel confortable listening to it with other people who don't know KOL, just because its not the kind of thing people are used to hearing and they are usually like wtf?!

They are literally one of the only bands that I don't skip songs when playing the CD all the way through...I can just start up my itunes playlist with the three albums and be happy for hours. My other 2 favorite bands (Libertines, Strokes) I definitely have songs that I just can't stand, but not KOL.
However, when I'm playing BOTT, I tend to start on track 2, I'm not entirely fond of Knocked Up.

Judging from ASH and YAYM I'd have to say Trani.
It's the only song by Kings of Leon that gets my thumb twitching to the >> button. I feel slightly weird about it knowing that Bob Dylan and the Followill's hold the song so dearly, but I just can't listen ot it long enough.
The only times I've actually listened to it in its entirety was when I actually told myself "Listen to the whole thing, it can't hurt. Why do they like it so much?"
But, I just can't get in the groove, the mood, the whatever.
I love Radio America. And, Don't Be Shy. But, I can't listen to Radio America while driving, though because it would lull me to sleep because it's so sweet.

Pretty much every song on the new CD...it's horrible. Does "removing boundaries" and "being free to experiment with new sounds" mean over-producing the hell out of generic songs to KOL?
In all seriousness, it sounds like KOL used a producer who works for a band like fall out boy or nickleback. Nothing here sounds as good as either of the two previous albums which were uniquely amazing. This is boring, cliched garbage.
Over 2 years of waiting for this? Shame on Kings of Leon. Some of these songs, or at least parts, and their tired and boring chord progressions and playing style sound like anthem rock expected from Journey.
I'm so angry that this album sucks so much and so many of you think it's fantastic.

call me stupid, but KOL is the only band where i will listen to every song on every album + all their b-sides & never get tired of any of them...
i like them all because at their worst they still sound better to me than anything else...
