How did you find KOL?

I was just wondering how you guys got turned on to Kings of Leon? I've never actually heard one of their songs on the radio and no-one that I know has a clue who they are. I'm a pretty big U2 fan also, so when I found out that KOL was opening for them a few years back, I blind bought their first cd. I didn't like it at first, but I came back to it a few months later and after a few listens I loved it. I am now a gigantic fan and I am very thankful that I happened to read on the U2 website that KOl was opening for them!

I first saw them on the Bonnaroo dvd and I didn't like it. Don't know why, really. Then I believe I heard them on Sirius and liked whatever song would occasionally play. A guy at work had their albums so I borrowed em... and will now forever be in love with the Kings of Leon.
