I was just wondering because I was reading reviews of their albums on Amazon and one of the reviewers was referring to how "evil" the lyrics to Milk were...said something along the lines that the song "could have been written by Satan". Lol. I thought I was missing something.

I'm listening to both songs back to back and they have a similar sort of feel about them its the looking back on a relationship thing and the harmonic scheme. I tend to hear things as chord patterns and it really annoys people.

Have you noticed that the guitar in Tranni is nearly identical to "Sweet Jane" by the Velvet Underground in many parts? |

I can tell you the exact origin of this as I was told first hand by thier cousin.  Basically it was written after a family reunion (which they apparantly do yearly or as regularly as possible). They were really sad to be leaving and Nacho was getting into the car with tears rolling under his sun glasses and Caleb grabbed a pen and strated jotting down some lyrics quickly about the reunion. Cant remember the rest but thats the jist of it..... |

I always took salty leave as just a really poetic description of tears. Thats what tears are after all, they are salty and you're crying them out. Just felt to me like a perfect two word desciption, and the way he sings it is almost like crying.
Anyone else get that?
