Is it just me or has everyone else noticed just how good a drummer nathan is? Never noticed it before but I think it really stands out on this album.
Next time you listen to the album make a point of listening out for his percussion, friggin awesome.

He's a really tight drummer, his sound isnt too big, which fits well with the way they play together.

I must admit that I've been impressed with the Jared's bass playing on this album, think it has come on a lot!

I think all of the band members sound very much improved as individuals.

The bass playing is amazing. I think its been one of the biggest highlights on the album for me. When he comes in with a bass line, the whole song is just thrown into a totally new momentum.

The drumming has definitely improved on Aha Shake Heartbreak, even though it was still good on YAYM. That's partly what attracted me so much to the album. Problem with the bass is, you can't hear it too well on most songs...unless we're talking about Razz, now THAT is a good song!

Nate has a flavor to his playing style that is the perfect compliment to the songs. I love his use of the toms and his diverse drumming style. Rock on Nate~!

yea a good thing about nathan...he doesn't seem like one of these big show off travis barker type people...but he's still amazing and never misses a beat....
like someone above said (i think) its quite subtle....like u mite not think o wow this an amazing fill or wteva bt if you actually try and play the stuff...its all the little things that make him a quality drummer.
p.s. would any other drummer on this site thought of choosing that beat for the bucket? im sure most would have gone for the old hi-hats and some flashy fills and a nice loud crash on the 'eighteen' parts etc......good choice me old nathski!
