Black Keys bit more bluesy Yea man black keys are sick, if you like magic potion definitely buy thickfreakness and rubber factory, while magic potion is good, the other two are much better. The black keys and Kings of Leon are my two favorite bands right now, with My Morning Jacket behind them. Also, whoever posted that Wildbirds link, that stuff is amazing, thanks a lot for that.

Have a look at this band. They're like a bit YAYM era Kings Of Leon. But a lot more British Invasion instead of Southern Boogie. Sorta like a modern Rolling Stones/Kinks etc.. With a bit fo Van Morrison and Them thrown in there too. They've toured with the Hives and Oasis and opened for Jet and played an NME tour and shit like that. They're juuussttt about to release their debut record. www.thechecks.net& listen to songs here: www.myspace.com/thechecks

From the whiskey go go's myspace : - "Matt, originally from country Victoria, spent his early years living in 16 different countries with his missionary mother, Patricia" Plus songs called True Love (Way), and (king of the) Rodeo... just kidding i think they're great
