there seems to be two camps when it comes to KOL. The ones, (professional critics included), that seem to pick California Waiting as the best or one best tracks on the Kings first CD.
Personally it is my least favorite.
What camp are you in?

album version is better.imo that is. well maybe that's just because i'm used to it. the lyrics are oh so good. but to answer your q im in the 'love it' camp. cause it rockssssssssss

i think the album version is better too. demo is still good too, but i like the guitars better on the album version more. It's a good song regardless though.

I like it both ways, but I like the demo more, prolly just because I heard it that way first, ya know? I think you like it the first way first most of the time, but maybe thats just me

It took me a while to get into, not one of my favourites but I'll never skip it (although I don't think I've ever skipped a KOL song). I tend to like it more on bad days or when I'm in a shit mood. Maybe that means the people who love it are all depressing.

california waiting is one of my favorite KOL song.....that song is what got me into them in the first place, i had only heard the album version up until a couple of months ago when i heard the demo, and i quite like the demo now
