I'm not a razorlight fan at all though, not saying they are bad, cause they're not.
I'm just another one of those people that dislike razorlight simply for Borrell.

To think that you are better than Dylan is a big thing to say.
And I'm a Dylan fan. So it makes Borrell seem like even more of an arse.
I'm glad they don't like Borrell, and I'm glad Dpherty headbutted him in the face.

anyways as much as borrell is an arsehole, wat he said about dylan was taken out of context. he was saying that his first album was similar to dylans first album in that they both got the same reception. at least thats what he thought
on tat note though, he can write music. the first album of razorlights was amazing, and the second was dissapointing but semidecent. cant badmouth that

the song 'los angeles waltz' on razorlight's new album has a verse. and the lyrics go like this "I was on mulholland drive With the radio on They played augusstus pablo And Kings of Leon" Its actually not a bad song! yeaaaaaaah! haha i like razorlight and today i was listening the new cd for the first time and in the last song i heard KINGS OF LEON in the middle of the song and woow, that's awesome =D I know Johnny Borrel had ever played on The Libertines (band that i'm huge fan) and in up the bracket's cover has some stuffs about it and well, seems like he's a fan of Kings of Leon (my favorite band as libertines as). Razorlight cover of milk is one of amazing cover that i ever listened and now hear kings of leon on a razorlight music makes me admire them a lot. =D |

Yeah, that's true! Johnny Borrel was The Libertines bassist in the beginning, Johnny studied with John Hassal (the ex-libertines bassist). Johnny had to go out of the band because he lacked in gigs...
But he's Carl Barât's friend and The Boy Looked At Johnny (Libertines' song) is about Johnny who write Dalston to Pete Doherty
and well...
the first and second bands album is:
UP the bracket and The Libertines
UP all night and Razorlight

to be honest, i really dont mind razorlight
aye borell might be pretty arrogant, but you know, its got him places, theyre quite a hgue band these days, and i dont think theyd have done it if it wasnt for him.
-look at oasis...cant stand them like me self...good music though...huge music..huge band...seriously arrogant singer!
and i like the music...its good to dance too...its nothing comapred to dylan etc...but its good..and saying you hate borell doesnt instantly mean you have to hate razorlight..
and if i remember right, they were goodlvie at leeds festy

I saw the razorlight cover of milk too. It was brilliant, absolutly fantastic. And Borrell is amazing, better then Dylan. Annnnyyyyday. Bob Dylan's boring, boring and over rated. I love Kings of Leon and i LOVE Johnny Borrell, sue me.

But he's Carl Barât's friend and The Boy Looked At Johnny (Libertines' song) is about Johnny who write Dalston to Pete Doherty and well... the first and second bands album is: UP the bracket and The Libertines UP all night and Razorlightjohnny was in the band for like a day because he went to school with john, but apparently his ego clashed with pete and carl so it went no further and they couldnt exactly have 3 frontmen. razorlights first abum was ok, but they have just sold out so much. like the song america you can tell that johnny wanted it to be one of those songs that is around for ever and its just not gonna be. also the venues they play its just rediculous, only really famous bands should play stuff like the men in manchester, but the way that music is at the moment is allowing them to do it so its partly the english music culture that is letting borrell get away with his arrogance, but when the whole music trend moves on, theyre not gonna be left with much because they have lost the respect of their original fanbase. |
