They do that from time to time, apparently the writters like KOL, pretty cool right. Well the most recent one says that they dug up some talk of KOL opening for Bob Dylan's latest tour.
Holy shit huh??

Holy shit huh?? Wow! That kicks butt! Good lawd how many classic acts do they have to open for before America recognizes them. I don't got any Kings friends over here!

Well all they have to do is a simultaneous release across the world with the next album not the usual 6 months latter in the states. Their world marketing seems a bit poo really.

Yeah im definitely going to try to pick up the tickets for one of their opening concerts. Hopefully one will be in San Fran. I'm just so glad the holyness himself picked up on the kings. Thats actually pretty monumental. Considering he's the one that said all the modern rock and roll "saviors" didn't even know where the music came from and that music today is basically crap, something like that. I was a bit worried that he was also refering to the kings. Looks like they are the exception, and I completely agree. They are the most unique and original/real rock and roll band of our time. Period.

Ah yes, I agree with you there I was happy to see that he must appreciate them for them to go on tour with him. Especially since, to me, he's the best music artist, and they are my favourite band. Compared to the U2 tour, that means SO much more.

I tend to like his folk days more than his rock and roll days, but yeah being the most influential artist of all time, this is pretty big for the kings.
I'd like to find out other acts Dylan has enlisted in his previouis tours, as well as the other acts he will use besides the kings in this one.

haha..
Kaiser Chiefs aren't even good enough to open for KOL.. let alone Bob Dylan.. I saw some interview with Caleb ages ago and he was saying that like Kaiser Chiefs were put forward to like open a UK tour for them, so they listened to them and they were like, man, these guys suck!
and apparently they could've had Franz Ferdinand open for them too..

Hahah That's so true, I'm not a fan of the Kaiser chiefs I could never imagine Bob doing some dodge version of 'I predict a riot' or something, haha

The smoking section always mentions them! Its pretty awesome. A few issues back the guy that writes it went golfing with Nathan and Caleb. It said something about performing a hawaii new year eve show with Pearl Jam and "A Certain Irish Band" implying U2.

U2 cancelled all their Australian, NZ and I'm pretttyyy sure like Hawaiian dates in March. and they're coming back in November... so they'd be on the move around the right time and shit.. Cool.. That'd be a pretty fun show. the KOL part anyway
