just share the KOL musical moments that make you go nuts, happy, angry, tearful, whatever...
* end of trani live * spiral staircase solo * the whole velvet snow makes me want to punch somebody * the rythym intro to 4 kicks when they play it live * when caleb says "Ya’ll cuh-cuh-cuh-creepin’ Creepin’ underneath my skin..." in Genius
your turn

i love the end of slow nights so long..just before the 'rise and shine...' part i think it's amazing, even live
the intro of red morning light...it's such a good song to start the yaym album off..just shows that it's only the beginning
and the beginning of bucket as well...it just sums up 2004 for me
and in rememo the verse,i'm overdue another round...etc i dunno..i just love that verse so much, caleb sings it so well

Everything. Even the cheesy woo at the start of the bucket. I cant take much more of hearing no news about the release of the new album. I fear myself.

Genius - Can't stop smiling/ laughing when Caleb sings "You keep stick to me like a prickly porcupine" - just so random and funny!!
Spiral Staircase - just gotta dance to it!
Kings just sum up my 2005, not all happy clappy and cheery! But a promising 2006!!!

milk live, esp the little extra guitar bits and the drums. the last chorus/outro of soft. nothing better. the chord progressions in king of the rodeo. they really ache, especially in the choruses. the superfast verses of wasted time live. the slide guitar in the demo version of dusty. every single second of trani. i fucking love everything in general though, especially the way caleb phrases and times his vocals and i think just the way the different sounds bounce off each other... it's really melodic but raw at the same time. i think i'll go listen to ASH now xx edit>> oh and the extra line when they play happyalone live, of course

I love it when they play Pistol of fire live and Caleb does that little rap.
I love the bit in Holy Roller Novocaine when they are all clapping and you can hear the organ in the background. I love the bit in Taper Jean Girl when Caleb goes 'taper jean girl kills me', I like the way he says me. I love the end bit in Milk when you can hear Caleb humming. I love Matthew's guitar bit on Velvet Snow, and I love Nathan's drumming on razz, and Jared's bass on that is fucking great. And all of that jazz.

I love:
The yodelling in Day Old Blues
The intro to Red Morning Light. (porcelain - quite right. Its got such an energy, what an entrance!)
The break out into the chorus of Velvet Snow.
And all the bits that feature cowbells
The frantic end of Soft.

- "Called and called but I can't get through..." Caleb sounds so helpless and desperate; I love it... But Milk really makes me cry - "So far so good, she's absolutely wasted" It gets me in a good mood - Traini live. They go bonkers (?) - King of the Rodeo. How can anyone NOT dance to that? - Day Old Blues, because it's so sad. - "CHEEEEEK, CHECK 1 2.... CHECK 1 2 3...." does that count? - Four Kicks makes ME go bonkers.

Like I mentioned in some other thread : the outro of Slow Night, So Long
In Day Old Blues..the way Caleb sings : "Peach Christmas lights...."...especially the word "lights" how his voice skips and all..of course totally unintended but thats what makes it genius.
The intro of Soft just makes me smile..
And in California Waiting, right before the chorus when Nathan's voice comes in.."I'd sing you a song but they blew it away, all wrapped up in this stupid ass game"....cool lines as well..
that kind of stuff...

I like the beginning of Head To Toes[/b].
I also love the part in Milk where Caleb goes "She had problems with drinking milk and being school tardy." Don't know why.
How flawless the transition between Taper Jean Girl and Pistol of Fire.
I know there are more. But those are the ones I could think of right now.
