CW is one of my favourites.Why isnt it true KOL?Seems to fit in to the whole YAYM album doesnt seem like the odd one out. Seems to me like you write a good song, then somone says its not what you want it to be then go and change it all because that one person didnt like it. Ninja Edit: NVM |

I like california waiting, don't get me wrong... but I don't think it fits with yaym cause it's not as "dirty" as the other songs (to steal a term from some other people on this thread). and I don't think kol changed california waiting because of the response of the audience, like I said, with a lot of my friends, the polished version of california waiting is the ONLY kol song they like. kol have said that they recorded a new version cause they weren't pleased with it themselves. |

The YAYM version i sped up via the drums, it takes on a much more STROKES like feel to it...less laid back and west coast, also Caleb chuckles out loud during the line "I'd sing you a song but they took it away" which could very well be his response to the REMIX of California waiting.
The original versio is much better, always has been and always will be..unless the guys can surprise us ala: tahina sky remix or molly's hangover
