Im planning to do a talent show at school and I was wondering what KOL song people think is best without lyrics in as non of us can sing.
Dont know if we can get bass and definetly not drums.
I had thought Pistol of Fire as its quite easy and it sounds good.

I don't really think any, as all the songs are written to accomadate the lyrics and singing so they would sound pretty strange without them.
Maybe Molly's Hangover

FatFriendFred, I am in almost EXACTLY the same position! Talent show coming up, we have two guitarists and a bassist ... We can sing OK but all I'll say is we're hardly Caleb. We're having trouble getting a drummer. Really if anyone can give an idea, please do!
Love the Bag x

the beginning of the bucket is great.. it's my favorite part. and i also like the beginning of holy roller a lot. every song has certain parts that are just great... you should make a mix with all of them

The thing about the kings musical style is that its a collage, in that its all just pieced together linear guitar lines intertwined together along with a beat and back ground bass lines. You'd have to have a certain combination of the band to get the right groove and melody. But the music does work with out vocals, like the bucket, But that song involves a really nice reverb to pull the song off. Just find one that has a good groove with an interesting melody.

Does it have to be a Kings Of Leon song?
Cause if not, then 'Rumble' by Link Wray is a good instrumental.. Although it's not really going to 'stretch your musical abilities'.
ummm.. 'Joe's Head' might go ok?
It's really fun to play as well.

Taper jean girl has a really cool riff that i love to play, so you could try using that one.
