Last night i was sitting at home listening to YAYM with my earphones turned up really loud, and trani came on. I've always liked the song. I mean there isn't a KOL song I don't like, but it never really had an impact on me. This is gonna sound so lame. Anyway, i was sitting there listening to it with my eyes closed and i started to cry. I had no idea that song was as beautiful as it is. So, it made me wonder what song can evoke feelings like that for you all? I'd like it if y'all named a KOL song and maybe a song by another band that does that for you.

Milk!!! Calebs voice and the the lyrics always touch my heart!!!!! ive never actually cried to it, but ive come very close to it!

Wicker Chair is a really touching song, and Talahina Sky always gets to me, because it makes me think about the fact that I'll be leaving home really soon.  partly exciting, partly sad. Joe's Head always puts me in a great mood, it's really empowering... especially if you're feeling kind of cynical haha |

slow nights so long makes me cry,as my cat died when i was listening to it,as stupid as it sounds i like listening to it just because it reminds me of her
and the bucket gives me a good happy feeling as it's a sort of anthem of 2004 for me
also o dusty gets to me as well..i just love calebs voice so much

Both trani and milk make me cry, but trani makes me like laugh and cry. I was listening to it on my way to school one morning and that part where Caleb just rips right into it, it like knocked the air out of me. Something in the core of me always turns whenever I hear those songs.
I can cry when I listen to milk both because of how beautiful it is and because all my friends and I are obsessed with kol and most of them left for year abroad this year and I miss them more than anything and it makes me think of them.

I just heard wicker chair for the first time again today in three months, and i forgot how amazing it was. That song is so beautifully arranged. Four kicks makes me wanna kick ass, hard core. Well when i listen to ASH, "Four Kicks" makes me wanna party for forever and ever... and then right after that's over "Velvet Snow" makes me depressed

Wicker Chair is an amazing song. it can sometimes make me cry, it just reminds me so much of my father. Milk truly is a beautiful song, don't think it's ever made my cry though... it just makes me listen very carefully, cos I find it so emotional, and Caleb's voice is just breath-taking! Joe's head always puts me in a good mood, makes me want to sing along. great lyrics... hehe  and whenever I hear 'In the aeroplane over the sea - Neutral Milk Hotel', I get in a weird mood. don't know how to explain, it just gets me. |

Milk just about gets me everytime, when the album came out last year, that was me and my ex's favorite song cause it described her perfectly, then all hell broke loose and well the song fits perfectly
