I think the song is more about everything that must have been getting Caleb down at the time. The first verse is talking about his bad habits and the love hate relationship he has with fame. "Silly expectation of a dream", etc. The second chorus sounds like he is missing home perhaps. I'm pretty sure he's saying "Feels like I'm fast at home asleep". I dunno, just throwing that out there! And yes it would be awesome to see that sung live.

my brother and i play day old blues together sometimes. the most fun part is the "betty betty, annie was praying..." part.

He actually says - "Feels like a fast or homeless sleep"

I think it's an interesting take on the song, especially with the harmonica... it grows on you!
