At the start of KOTR Matt plays C# loads of times and does a slide and a bend the two more slides.Didnt know how many times he plays it.

I've been playing on and off for a couple of years now. I mainly play my own stuff, I dont spend much time on other people's songs. I did just get a Gibson Thunderbird 4 in Classic White and it rocks! That's a serious instrument! That's wicked.. What kind of amp do you have? Thanks! I got the only one in the country thats in stock right now. They are on backorder well into 2006. I emailed every dealer on the Gibson site and found one in Des Moines Iowa. A decent amp is all I'm lacking now. Until my band starts playing gigs I dont see the point in buying another 8 X 10 like I used to have. Right now I use... Orange 35W ( great for practice and recording ) Gibson Thunderbird 4 SansAmp Programmable Bass Driver DI ( a must own ) Boss TU2 Tuner thats it! Again, aside from upgrading to an 8 X 10 thats all I'll ever need. When I was in another band ages ago I had a pedalboard full of stuff but these days I'm keeping it simple, taking notes from the Strokes minimalistic approach. |
