just thought i'd introduce myself, was a kings of leon virgin just a week ago, and now i'm completely and utterly hooked to the brothers followill. nothing else has played on my ipod the last week except youth and young manhood and aha shake heartbreak on repeat  and, for those out there who think caleb followill can't sing for shit (i've read a few stupid magazine reviews saying that), maybe you're right, but i think he's awesome, at least he's unique and has his own style and swagger...these guys are the best new band i've heard since the stripes. not a single bad song. anyone know if they're planning an 06 tour in the states? i would love to see them live |

I'm caroline! anyway, hooray for you because this is the beginning of a long musical journey!! that's how it was for me anyway. my intro to kol has taken me on lots of interesting forays into other kinds of music. and who knows where this roads leads? maybe a pot of gold? something better? we'll see... sorry that that was completely incoherent, I just woke up from a nap -- and as you can see/read, I'm not fully awake. that's another thing you'll get a lot of around here. at least from me.  |

i read about them once in the newspaper , and thought i should look them up , but forgot . next time i saw them was it was in an artincle about how great they were at big day out . i finally gave them a look see after that and have since had y&ym + aha playing constantly in both ipod and cd player ever since . can't help but be a little sad i didn't discover them a week earlier so i could see their shows in aus .
anyways (not that i'm qualified to give them , having been here about a week) , welcome <3 hahah
as for shows .. couldn't say . keeping checking the official site i guess , and cross your fingers
