hmm does anybody know KOL equipment/gear especially their guitars, particularly caleb's? i know its a gibson but which model and which year is it? and also, any distortion pedals. they should have a gear list on their official site like foo fighters . or something. and hi! first post  and sorry if this has been posted befor |

Hi welcome to the board. I happen to like foo fighters, and Dave Grohl. I really love what he brought onto the table with the new NIN album.
Anyway, yeah I have seen a place where there was info on this stuff. I believe Jane's Jump Gate had it, but the site is down now.

oh thanks cornflake. i managed to do my own research on their guitars if anyone's interested. matthew: '71 Les Paul Custom in Sunburst & Epiphone Sheraton (interview can be found at: www.gibson.com/absolutenm/templates/FeatureTemplate.aspx?articleid=106&zoneid=2) through an Ampeg Reverbrocket R-212R and other types of amps i'm sure. caleb: '71 or '72 Gibson Vintage ES-325 (in walnut i suppose?) jared: thunderbird and maybe a gibson sg? he's played that no? anyways, i dont know what the boys use now since i've never been to any of their shows and doubt will ever go to one. |

Its not an SG, SG is a guitar its an EBO which is the bass from the same range.

Caleb uses a '72 Gibson 325, and plays that through a Vox Ac-15. No pedals.
Matthew uses a 1971 Les Paul Custom and the Epiphone Sheraton (like that person said above), with the Ampeg Reverb Rocket.
But I've seen him using Fender Tweeds before as well, and sometimes an Orange stack too.
Pedals he uses a Jekyll and Hyde ultimate overdrive. In the past he's used a Danelectro Daddy-O and a Big Muff.. But I don't think he uses them anymore.
and in the video for the Bucket you can see him using an MXR Micro-Amp.

jared uses a thunderbird now but in the bucket video he has a gibson eb3, i have the same one, mines from 1973 so his has to be around the same year, he told me he dont use it any more cause it needs some work done.
