Yeah Csolis, I saw the pictures. Pretty sweet. It sounds like you guys had a good time. Listen, buy Vitalogy when you get a chance. It's Pearl Jam's third album. You can find it used at any store you go to, especially if you go to Amoeba in Berkeley or San Francisco. You'll really like it. I remember your musical tastes from prior posts.

i love ameoba records, sadly i cant leave without spending hundreds of dollars... but about the party thing that U2 had...why were the killers there? aren't they having their own tour? i guess they really like kings of leon, i wonder if KOL likes their sound too...
sorry that was a stupid thought.

i found this snippet:
The show was by far the greatest concert I have been to. The Kings of Leon were the opening act. Most of the U.S. isn’t aware of KOL, but apparently their first album, Youth & Young Manhood, went to number one in Europe. Most of KOL’s songs are unorthodox, meaning they don’t have straight drumbeats and bass lines. Singer Caleb Followill’s vocals screech and scratch incomprehensibly. You may have heard KOL. Their song “Molly’s Chambers” currently airs in a Volkswagen commercial. Also their song “The Bucket” has received play on MTV2 as well as local radio. Their set was fast, loud, and explosive. They probably played 15 songs in 40 minutes to a half filled Key Arena.
The highlight of the KOL set came when Pearl Jam singer and Seattle native Eddie Vedder joined them on stage for their last song. Welcomed with loud cheers and tambourines in hand, Vedder sang on the choruses smashing tambourines and throwing them out to the audience giving KOL an explosive send off. My mother said they would have been better if she could’ve understood them.

Yeah I was wondering the same thing because we've all heard that the Killers like KOL but I've never heard if KOL likes the Killers... I remember hearing an interview with Nathan. He said he had the Killers in heavy rotation. It was actaully a very funny interview over the phone with a disc jockey from some college in Oklahoma. The Kings were staying in some hotel and were playing poker by the pool. So every now and than you'd hear the anty in the pot being called out. Made me wish I was there playing poker and drinking beers with them.

Any interview involved with Nathan over the phone always managed to be hilarious. When they did the SF interview I was laughing so hard.... The interview said it was one of the funniest he has ever done.

there was a guy on the U2 forum who put up a post saying " Don't buy your t-shirt while KOL are playing" because he had listened to negative comments about KOL and decided to buy his t-shirt while they played, while he was gone his all time hero came on stage and sang with the guys i replied that he should have made his own mind up about KOL and it's was his loss on both counts........missing KOL and his 'hero'!! haha!!

didnt u read the essay i wrote here after i went to kol show? well i say it there, i got to talk to Nat while they were at the radio station!!! it was AWESOME!!!!! we were listening to the interview on this small radio, and then it was almost over and i think hotlikearazor tlaked to them or something so i called in when they were playing their last song and the dj answered and i was like "im a huge KOL fan and i was wondering if i could talk to them" and he told me to wait, he was going to see what he could do then, then he said good bye to them cause the interview was over, and i was still on hold, the interview had been over for like 10 minutes already and i was still on hold, i was about to hang up when the dj answers and hes all like "are u still there?" and i answered back, the i heard like a clicking sound and i thought he had hung up on me, but then this deep voice starts talking (just remembering it makes me want to cry of happiness!!!!) and i cant believe my fuckign ears!!!!!!!! "hello" he says and im like "Nathan?" hes all like "yes this is Nathan speaking" and my heart is about to explode and im about to scream my head out but i think twice about it, and then i say "are u fucking serious" and hes like "yes im serious" sounded like he laughed and i just told him how much i loved them and how mcuh i loved their music and how talented and great they were and then i asked for Jared but then thought twice about it and just told Nat that they were all great, he had to go and he said good bye and stuff, then like when i met Jared after the show he recognized my voice and he was like "were u the one that called in otday at the radio station?" i was soooo happy
