Wow! That's awsome! I love Eddie Vedders voice...I remember hearing Jeremy when it first came out and was blown away by them. They have since gone less mainstream in their music, but they still rock. britchick, you arn't old...I refuse to be old I hope someone taped it. Apparently Pearl Jam is the most bootlegged band, and they encourage their fans to do so and distribute it to other fans (not selling for profit though of course).

I would pay a lot of money (around £20) to hear this rendition of Slow Night, So Long.
On the thread that was on here a while ago about who would you love to see on the same bill as the Kings I put Pearl Jam.
If you think Calebs voice is good, Eddie Vedders voice pisses all over it. He makes Chris Martin sound like a dalek.
As for lyrics Pearl Jam are up their with the best and have been for many years. Great guitars too.
Check out Lost Dogs which is a double CD of all of their B-sides.
Get into a band that has had more than 2 albums.

All of the younger people on the board should be listening to Pearl Jam because they influenced almost all of the bands that are out there right now. They are my favorite band ever and I've seen them over 30 times. You really can't go wrong with their first five albums but I would try Ten or Vitalogy if you want to give it a listen. Or just listen to some songs on iTunes (Black or Curduroy). It's really cool that he played with KOL because he usually doesn't take an interest in new music that much because so many people have ripped him off over the years and copied their sound/his voice (STP, Creed, etc.). If you haven't listened to them, give them a shot. I feel old now and I'm only 25.

PICTURE!!! aah, i'd have chewed off a limb to be there plus this goes with it: After the success of first night in Seattle u2 hosted a fantastic party. All of the band were there, along with Bill Gates The Killers and Eddie Vedder and Stone Gossard from Pearl Jam. Before the end of the night The Kings of Leon also showed up and obviously they and Pearl Jam hit it off. As U2.com can report, a wonderful night was had by all and it lead on to a tremendous musical moment for fans at the second show. As The Kings of Leon were playing through their set, Eddie Vedder joined the young rockers from Tennessee on stage during their final track Slow Night, So Long to a huge cheer from the local audience. Here is the story via U2's website: A long time fan of the band - Eddie turned up to sound check for the second show with tambourines at the ready. Slow night is reportedly Vedder's favourite song by the Kings. He perhaps smashed 3 or 4 Tambourines - tossing them out into the audience - all the while getting down with the Kings and looked to be loving every minute of it.
