Holy fuck, i just got back from the U2 vertigo concert in San Jose and i could have spit on the stage on stage. I was literally no more than two peoples length away from the stage. Why becuase i was in the Eclipse, the special section of the floor level that is seperated from the rest of the floor by a half circle cat walk, and only special tickets can get in right in front of the stage.
Our tickets happened to be these special tickets and we were one of the first to get our spots infront of the stage. I tell you being that close to the kings felt surreal, and they all looked just like they do on the pictures! The rocked my socks off and they were just wild, though the sound board was a little off and pretty bassy, but they played their songs magnificently!
They said we were alot more supportive and appreciative then yesterdays crowd, and they looked like they were having a good time.
Caleb had his hair in a pony tail and so did nathan. The even played Milk and Slow night, so long. The area i was in was pretty receptive to them.
Man what a great concert, oh and U2 was pretty good too, a little over the top considering Bono at one point acted like a tige,r got on all fours on the cat walk and crawled, then stopped to suck on an adoring fans fingers. It was pretty hilarious and absurd.
My only regret is that i didnt bring my Camera! I thought i wouldnt be alowed to take it in, but sure enough cameras were allowed. I was pissed, but we did manage to get some really c rappy pictures on my friends camera phone. So ill get those sometime soon and post them for you guys.
All in all, it was an amazing night and the kings were right infront of me!
EDIT: Just remembered that the place reaked of pot, and you could see smoke clouds billowing from the audience as people lit up. At moments there where big pot clouds billowing in Bonos face, lol.
