his cd's are good...but you truly have not experienced the magic of ben kweller until you've seen him live. I guess that's true for most good musicians/ bands, though. but I saw him with the strokes in 2002 and then again this past september at acl (austin city limits festival) and both times I was absolutely blown away. his songs have much more of a rock feel to them live, and it's really cool to see him sing and alternate between the guitar and the piano...he's just so good at everything.

ooh ben kweller is sooo good! i didnt like him the first time i saw him (which was supporting kings in birmingham) but then in nottingham supporting them he was reallly good. then he was at the rescue rooms and he was GREAT!
on my way is such a great album!

the kweller is for winners. he was greeeat the three times i've seen him, and he's really nice too. if you havent heard anything by him you should listen to these songs: ann disaster, commerce, tx, falling, hospital bed, i need you back, in other words, lizzy, make it up, no reason, on my way, the rules, walk on me, wasted and ready... he also did an ep with ben folds and ben lee called 'the bens' thats worth listening to. as is his stuff from his old band radish. bk baby
