Ok, so this article is from NME (who find it hard not to be harsh on everything unless its got someting to do with Pete Doherty or the Libertines)....but I just thought i'd post this review of King Of The Rodeo for you guys...
'The title promises a Gram Parsons - esque alt.country workout dripping with pedal steel and fried bulls' testicles, but that is not what is delivered. The strangely underwhelming 'King Of The Rodeo' finds the Kings spikier and more off - kilter the usual, with an impossible-to-frug-off-beat rythm and some of the boys' most bizarre vocal stylings to date, alternating between mockney and open - throated soul hollering. A dissapointing tease, like an aborted wank in musical form' PC
hmmm harsh or very harsh? I know what I think....

the "reviews" are always full of shit....what makes the ppl that do the reviewing so damn smart. i dont go by reviews anyway.

i went to every store in my area trying to find NME and none of them had it !!!  i normally get it in the store on the corner of my street but the guy said that they only sent him 1 and he sold it! im going crazy !!!! |

yeah this weeks is pretty rubbish and by putting that review in made it a whole lot worse!...did anyone read that interview with a band called snow white? dumb planks: 'we have a word for when something's really bad and wrong in the world: Razorlight'......oh right, and you can talk when you walk around with a packet of ciggarettes tucked into the turn up in your jeans?....but who knows their music could be good so i shall say no more anywho...i'm not going to glasto either but i am going to reading (sorry britchick) i've got my fingers crossed for you in the hope that the kings will play at glastonbury too  |
