yes! yes! yes! I'm so happy that they're gonna be on leno! I actually prefer conan to leno...but leno is the true sign that you're breaking into the mainstream. not that I really WANT kol to break into the mainstream...I wouldn't want them to change. but I think they're too sensible, and into their music to do that.

Creative uses of smiley faces. I was watching the news and during commercials they said who was going to be on and the announcer said "...and princely tunes by the Kings of Leon."  I thought it was so cute. But more importantly, I have never seen them announce the musical guest during the commercial so that is pretty big... but they might have before cause I hardly ever catch the commercials.  |

so caleb is still rockin the pony tail! is it me or did Nathan looked mad at the beggining, he had this mad look on his face! and i think Caleb maybe was hungover cause he looked pale and u could tell that the light kept bothering him. the faces that he made were hilarious though! they sounded great like always, it did sound slower like u guys said! they didnt really show Matt, Jared or Nathan much, just Caleb. but Leno did a good job in introducing them though,i think

they sounded great like always, it did sound slower like u guys said! They were in a low battery mode probably from being worn out from doing so many shows lately and with the U2 thing. Does anyone know if the Leno show is done live? |

when they were on the Conan show, it looked to me like Caleb was having trouble hearing? he seemed to be the only one going a bit slower, and at the beginning he walked right over to Matt, like he was trying to listen, then Nathan and Jared gave him a couple of long looks between them as if to say 'are you ok? what are you doing?' i may be completely wrong, im not trying to read something in to it thats not there, but thats what it looked like to me  |

ill check it out, i didnt notice it, and i dont think Leno is live, but what i dont know is that if its done the same day just earlier or another day.
if it was the same day but earlier (which i think is possible cause Leno is taped in LA and they were in San Diego for U2 and theyre really close to each other) than no wonder they looked so tired!! i mean poor them, theyve been touring non stop, they must be exhausted!

I thought it was because he didn't like the sound quality. It was a little off at first with the guitar. I don't think he was happy about it. |

I just assume they smoked some ganga before the show. That is why they were going slower and Caleb's eyes are all droppy and he looked out of it. I think the only one that can handle his weed is Nathan.
Leno is taped earlier in the day like around 4 I think. I am not sure.
