someone posted this on lj... i love the last question haha
FHM interview, April 2004
You're made up of three brothers and a cousin.
Do you guys always get into family bifo's?
j:not recently
n: on this tour we've got our own rooms, so we're glad to see each
other in the morning. We all live together when we're off the road.
When you're on the road you learn to go off and do your own thing
and avoid killing each other
Which member of the band would be most likely to do the classic rock move of throwing
a TV out of the window?
j: probably caleb. We had a $2 000 camera where we'd video stuff and he broke that pretty good
one night.
n: wasn't that stolen?
j: I don't know who told you that- it's broken
Do girls throw themselves at you?
j: {with satisfaction} yeah.
n: It's not difficult [to get with girls].
j: It can be difficult
How so?
n: If you're picky ot can be difficult
j: Girls can be a bit prejudiced. You can have a real connection with someone, and they'll be
like, "you're in a band, you pick-up girls all the time." So you're like, "C'mon, you came into
this bar tonigh to find a guy to have sex with. Because I play bass in a band that singles me out
as someone who does this all the time, when I don't.
So girls assume you're a man-whore?
j: It's not a ridiculous assumption...
So who's the biggest man-whore in the band?
j: It's kinda even.
n: It's like a salesman on commission-sometimes you're having a good week and others you aren't
Who'd win a brawl between the strokes and the kings of leon?
j: We'd fight with them, not against them. They'rereally cool guys, and it's a really tight
friendship between the bands.
n: We'd probably end up huggin' half-way through and apologising!
A lot of bands have their own merchandise. What would be yuor ultimate kings of leon product?
n: We've got stuff already -we have condoms, we have rolling papers, we have flasks,
we have panties, we have bra's. If we could have anything we'd have kings of
leon male blow-up doll with long hair, a moustache and a big donker!
