For the new album, for the next year of Kings of Leon.....
I hope the album comes out on time.
I hope they tour and I can go and se them
I hope that the otheres are given a chance to sing. (Nathan should do some tracks where he sings lead and before anyone says it wouldn't work I site the example of the Bangles)
I hope that the new album is a longer than YAYM
I hope that the echo on the Bonaroo set isn't a sign of production values to come.
I fear that the scandals are going to get bigger and that reports of their liasions will get gradually more hyped and silly (Kate Moss for example.)
I fear the overall picture that will be revealed by the new album, are we going to hear strange new influences in there?
That Jared is going to completetly go over the edge in an interview and offend even the Jared fans.
I fear friction and segregation in the band.
I fear that theres getting too big a distance between the front and the back, with there are gigs that you'ld think Caleb was a solo artist from the photos and that one day Caleb will fall of the front and Nathan get pushed of the back.
I may be being pesimistic, what does everyone think? What are your hopes and fears?

OOOOOOO
I hope Nathan gets to sing more and the band doesn't become "The Caleb and Jared Show"
I hope that Matthew gets more attention and we see more of the amazing guitar-ness.
I hope that Nathan and Matthew do a duet about the South, Jack Daniels, Cadbury's Dairy Milk or similar.
I hope Jared learns the fine art of restriant.
I hope Caleb does not indulge anymore with Kate Moss as she has a gammy eye and annoys 98.5% of the population.
I hope that the band do not team up with P Diddy, Nelly, Dr Dre or similar and do a rap song, reaulting in Jared leaving and calling himself DJ Mixmaster Jarrred (It could happen). Or any of the others becoming rappers.
I hope we see more Nacho, hurrah!
I hope the new album is as good as it sounds so far.

I hope Nacho just gets to join the band, period. He could play the tamborine, or take over for nathan on the cowbell in songs where drums are needed at the same time.
he could dance around the stage, perhaps do a little strip show..
personally i think it would make a great addition.

I hope they tour and I can go and se them Oh please oh please oh please oh please.... *taps red socks together in a Dorothy-like 'no-place-like-home' desperation* The Sadness last year when they sold out too fast! I fear the 'Sold Out' sign before I hold tickets in my sweaty little hands. I hope they all stay happy and humble. Is it down to the lake, I fear?

Oh, and also I hope I can stay firm and resolute in my stance of 'More Comedy Sex' in the face of sexy pictures of Caleb such as the one in this week's NME. Have youse seen it??!!! Oh good LORD . Feeling VERY intense over that picture. Comedy Sex suddenly seems woefully inadequate. And I hope I fall as instantly in love with the new album as much as I did with YAY Manhood. I fear that type of magic doesn't happen very often.

I hope Nacho and Eliza Dushku team up and get their own show, where they solve mysteries with the help of their rubber chicken, Trevor.

Oh look at me so full of hope! I also hope that KOL do us a SECRET LIVE GIG 'cause we're they're die-hard fans although this isn't the official site it might as well be 'cause it's far better, so they should just give us the gig. Go on - you know you want to

I hope I love the album the first time I hear it because right now I'm thinking it will just be another alright album that I play occassionally and not all the time like yaym.
I hope Jared stops wearing vaseline on his eyelids.
I hope they take more pictures of the whole band and sell them as those huge posters in HMV for those of us who can't get NME regularly.
I hope that when they said 'East Coast US Tour' they go to Boston and I can somehow convince my rents to take a trip there..
I fear that if Jared wears anymore vaseline on his eyelids then his eyes might get stuck together and he will fall off the stage and break his arm, therefor unable to carry on playing bass.
I fear that Matthew has stopped eating and will waste away and have to go into a celebrity anorexia clinic with Mary Kate Oslen and they will fall in love and I will be devastated.
I fear that Caleb's clothes will keep getting tighter and tighter resulting in a tee that cannot be removed forever and ever. The smell would get so bad but regardless Kate Moss was still there.
I fear that one day Nathan will be forgotten and accidently left at a Greyhound station or his drum kit is pawned for some pot.

Hello Board, ;-) Hehe, what a interesting topic variation, let me give it a go ;-). One little sidenote, while speaking of "Hopes & Fears", the same titled debut album by Keane is AWESOME and now available, check out them out at www.keaneband.com!: - I fear the massive crowds of news fans who will trample other fans when rushing into local record stores to get their copies of "A-Ha Shake Heartbreak"! - I hope the Kings of Leon buy more cloths from the Thrift store, put their logo on them, and sell them as "Leon brand clothing" in high price clothing stores! - I fear anyone who thinks that the Kings of Leon's sound is too "Gruff"! - I hope that Caleb grows his beard back out! - I fear cases of unwanted adult acne! - I hope I move to England one day and leave behind the food excess, the political lies and media biase of the States. There you go...Peace! Sincerely, JamiroFan2000

This may be me actually being English but I have never seen the fascination that people have about it. I think NME summed it up best when people in the Midlands went to see The White Stripes. You have all these people who see Detroit and the US as this amazingly different and exotic place, but go over to America and they exactly the same thing about us. There's probably not much difference. Same problems, different accent.
I'm still holding out for Nacho and Eliza "The Good Guide to Comedy Sex" book.
Nathan becoming the face of Pantene.
Jared moving in with Eminem to further his rappping dream. Nooooo
