i'm gonna choose here to say it *scared* where to start?! *bites nails*
I've listened to the Bonnaroo set and i was wondering what the echo was about? I don't like it. The 'Wasted Time' cock-up was amusing! It sounded out of time and a bit uhm fast, (probably because it was out of time) was the echo anything to do with this? cause i think it may well have been.
The new songs, i have a lot to say about them but i have the fear so shalln't. They're good, they're played well, but they seem to be lacking somehow. They sound unfinished, which they may well be but where's the punch? the guts? (the glory?! haha no), the LEON!! kill me if you like but i'm a bit sick of arse kissing. lovely arses as they are but still.
yeah but the echo was horrible. and it makes the bass drum sound nasty sometimes. and too heavy and just the only way i can describe it is, like hahah can't believe i'm gonna say this but it sounds like metallica hahaha not that i'm undermining Nathan's drummming skills or anything haha but it's like he's got some kinda double bass drum thing going on. this could have been the reason for the echo i don't know. but if that is the sound you want, uhm why? i don't think it fits. not that i know anything, you understand.
but still, i have to say this, i'm worried, though, i appreciate that the Leon really do love to fuck with our heads and i DO have faith in them, and i know they're only just getting their teeth into the new songs but i have been feeling this way for the past two months and i'm sure everything will work out more than well in the end. but i had to say it.
i know you guys havn't got the fear like me. i think you might prefer to quit than suffer the fear but give me something more? you're the fucking Leon!

I wore it on the end of my nose as a warning to anyone wanting to ask me serious questions - but i had to throw my vote in for the old KLF theory... how can the word(s?) "a ha" be uttered or thought without then going on to scream (at least silently) "KLF IS GONNA ROCK YA!"?
