the day before the big article there was this little teaser blurb in The tennessean:“Asked about favorite current music recently, Kings of Leon bass player Jared Followell immediately said, “Be Your Own Pet”. That was not a directive, but rather a serious answer. Be Your Own Pet is a band comprised of Nashville area teens that are young and fresh and good at making music.”
I've been looking for this Be Your Own Pet band. Anyone?

Yeah there's a post about it on the official site. Pretty much they're all fourteen, with a female blond lead singer backed by three indie lookin boys. a bit yeah yeah yeahsy. they don't have a web-site or anything. very very new but very cool.
