Does anybody Know what happened at a hotel in the u.k I think it was the columbia hotel. I read somewhere that the guys did some crazy stuff there. Anyone know sumthin?

yeah it was supposedly early last year on their first tour, i think the datsuns were there too? have no idea what 'really' happened but nme said there was lots of sex/drugs etc.

haha really?! (spiral staircase) All I know is pretty much the same as you guys and that be 'stuff' lol but if 'Spiral Staircase' was written about it then .. uhm .. ALOT of stuff must have happened haha! They saw even more  lol |

Spiral staircase was written about the columbia hotel. Wow, how long ago must that have been then? When did they start work on the album? Poor Jared, getting corrupted at such a young age |

i cant for the life of me remember where i read/heard this but i can remember caleb saying stuff about girls puking off balconies and the datsuns coming out of hotel rooms zipping up their pants haha

I'm gonna sound like such a BORING BITCH saying this but, eurgh fucking hell!! I read that too Sarah and I don't where from either haha probly NME It's just how can you possibly stay sane or healthy physically or mentally when you are surrounded by that sort of INSANE atmosphere, it's gotta be bad for you and pretty self destructive fuck!! I am so glad i am not a rock star and that's ironic because all my life i have wanted to make music, but God .. haha i can just imagine me throwing myself into that whole party atmosphere and indulging 100% in it and then as quick as i threw myself into it, throw myself out of it again due to it being; shallow, worthless, soulless, boring & cheap! ~haha it'd make me wanna dig wells in Africa and feed small animals hehe~ |

'We could probably write an album's worth about it. There was people doing cocaine and heroin in the lobby. In the lobby man!' exclaims Caleb. 'There'd be fat chicks puking out the windows. The Datsuns walking out of the closet zipping up their pants... We'd seen it in movies but it was nothing like it. At least one time a night we'd look at each other, crack up and ask, Where the fuck are we?'
