just been reading a random lj entry and apparantly the band were spotted at the franz ferdinand show last night, i'm guessing it was in LA. anyway apparantly jared confirmed the summer/september album release and they will tour immediately after

My Thoughts on the haircuts

Nathan: I see no difference except a nicer beard. However Queen Hazel of the KoL Commune will be very happy and I expect the Nathan/Snape/Caleb worship to be resumed soon.

Caleb: Just walked off the set of Queer Eye for a Straight Guy. I have a jacket very similar to his. Why is he fiddling with his sleeve? Is this "and for my next trick" moment or is he secretly an evil coke dealer who is peddling drugs to The Libertines?

Matthew: Hello Martin. However that top is similar to one my friend Ash got in topshop last year. Hmmm. I shall get her to compare. He now apparently, has an Ash acceptable length of hair.

Jared: Yes, he looks like Pelle. Hence forth he shall be known as King Jared-Pelle of Tennessee if it was in Sweden. I fully expect him to wear a natty black and white suit soon complete with a tie and nice shoes.

Whose is the house? I think my mother would like the lamp in the background. Maybe the Queer Eye guys did the house too.

They all look grand and very healthy compared to other pictures from the last 6 months or something, don't you think? I loooove Matt's hair but Jared is really scaring me, and I soo have Caleb's blazer in like a tan colour but I want the green one

Also I reeeally hope they do more dates in Canada this year or next and come to anywhere within 300 miles of me haha Toronto is just too far so kings, go to Quebec! Am soo glad about the whole new album coming out sooner than expected too

yay! they like franzy!! as to the hair, they all look pretty much the same as what they did around the BDO time, i was bracing myself to be more shocked lol jared does have a spooky resemblance to pelle tho, wonder if it was intentional anyways it's great news about the album and tour, probably won't have the money to go to any but yay for you guys i really like caleb's green blazer, is it just me or is he tripping ever so slightly into the eighties (as well as matthew) not a bad thing just wondering if i was just being strange again... probably. anyways thanx for the pic and info forketh xxx

yay for nathan not changing too much... don't get me wrong, i'm all for change, but i think being able to see that matthew, caleb and jared all have eyes is a big enough shock for me today.

and yay for the new album being out so soon... fingers crossed that their immediate tour will include the land down under... maybe a livid or BDO appearence to boot?

The Followill Family Home

The Followills are sitting down watching for the 53674578435th time Caleb's appearance on Celebrity Queer Eye for a Straight Guy and also the British series How Gay Are You? Somehow, through confessing he uses face cream (which is gayness in a jar) has a love of MP3s and not understanding the British sense of humour, Caleb scored 99.9%

Nathan: We really shouldn't have let him go on that show. He keeps trying to get me to listen to Judy Garland with him. And Cher. Listening to him sing "Take Me Home" at 7 in the morning is not good.

Jared: I know. My Burberry has been replaced with Estee Lauder's Pleasures. How bout you Matthew?

Matthew: *Inexplicable noise what only people born and raised in the South can understand.*

Jared: Too right Matthew. It's got to stop.

Caleb sashays in wearing a tight green dress with sprakly green shoes and a Dolly Parton wig. With him is a poodle called Judy and a bright pink jar which is placed on the coffee table

Caleb: Darlings, I have momentus news. I am leaving the band.

The Other Three: What?

Caleb: Yes, I am leaving to join a drag band in Texas called The Sequinned Kittens. They are experts in all kinds of music from Judy, God rest her soul, to Madonna. I am shall be their backing singer.

Matthew: *Noise*

Caleb: The jar, Matthew, is our new swear jar. If anyone swears they have to put $10 in. It is my fund for a boob job.

Matthew: *Noise* ahh shit.

Caleb passes him the jar and Matthew puts in $10

Jared: Couldn't you wait til I get put in rehab for my sex and Mars Bar addiction then leave.

Caleb: No as I would not be true to myself.

Jared: Crap.

Caleb: $10 please.

Nathan: Mwah ha ha ha. Now I shall be the lead singer who gets all the ladies.

Caleb: Actually you won't. People cannot know I have left the band so I'm putting Nacho on a diet and he's going to take my place. Nobody will ever know.

Nathan goes mad and starts smashing the house up and screaming obcenities at the top of his voice. This lasts for a half an hour, Jared ducks the lamp and Matthew switches over to Who Wants To Be A Millionaire.

Caleb: You've just paid for my boob job.

Fade out leaving Caleb smiling, Nathan sobbing in a corner, Jared piecing a lamp back together and Matthew being took no notice of whilst answering all the questions correcting in 0.6 seconds.
