music that you get lost in is the best kind and the only that is worth listening to. if it can take you away, make you feel and then bring you back differently it is all worth it. music is food for the mind body and spirit.

One thing i've always loved about music, is it's balance between reality and fantasy.

Thats so true. Music is so important to me, I wouldn't be as happy as I am as a person if it wasn't for all of the music I listen to.

Deffinately!! It's strange to think what the world (or my life, to be more specific) would be like without any music .. even the idea of it scares me shitless!! I don't think i even truly realise what it would feel like to be without it, and i don't really want to know. It can make journeys seem actually copable and almost fun because (well i know for me anyway) when i'm coming home from uni, i know as long as i can get a window seat i can jst sit dwn, listen to my discman and stare outta the window whilst letting my imagination run a riot. That's when i find i write alot .. about nothing in particular, just whatever i want to. It's beautiful and those journeys as strange this may sound are precious to me because i know the only thing i can do (and want to do) on those journeys is dream. If those times were taken away from me i think i would be on a range of alot harder drugs. Sounds horrible but we all need to be free .. even if that is in the most unexpected of places and only for a limite amount of time.

i love the way you can 'lose yourself in the music' ( ) because it's those times when you dont want to think about the reality of things and so you put on music really loud, and you lie on your bed and then you shut your eyes and just listen to it. and sometimes when the album has finished you think i didnt really hear any of that album but i heard it all. so then you didnt really lose yourself in the music because you werent properly listening to the music but then i suppose you did because you cant just lose yourself like that without the music. but i love the way 'let it be' is the one song i can totally lose myself properly into, and sometimes when i listen to it properly loud and in the dark, it sounds absolutely amazing. when i just listen to it normally in the day it doesnt sound as good to me although i still love it. oh and an extra point, a day is always made better when i have a good song in my head that i cant stop singing!
