Hey Gnomey, got da stuff taped. Will try sort out to get a copy for ya soonish and let you know when that is organised. As for Andy G. being a boob, yes, sometimes I cringe when the V folks interview people and try a little too hard to be funny. He's not as bad as Jabba can be tho... I need more KOL!!! God, I hope they come back to Oz soon!

o wOw an aupair. my friends sister did that a few years back and she was in new york too!. she had the best time and loved every minute of it. but o no u might miss splendour again. that would be sad. well maybe not cos we don't know the lineup this year yet so it could go all pear shaped. here's hoping that it's a killer lineup and that u get to go o and the music. i'll tell u i was unaware of there ways until i was squished in their pit. it was the best fun i had all weekend umm that is until the living end i think they had the BESt mosh pit of the festival. everyone went off and i didn't touch the ground near once thru their set. it was awesome. and o get this for manoverabliity. i left the pit area just after oo erm o ja john butler trio cos i was going to keal and needed to get water. my friend was at the barrier and i had to get back to her. so don't ask how but just b4 placebo i managed to sail thru the many mnay thousands of kids and get to the barrier fence front row near centre. wOw i couldn;t believe it i got back in!! i was so chuffed at that. i defeated the pit but then gots squished with many battle scares and bruises.. but i defeated the pit i hope u get to go to splendour. it's worth it.

This is kinda off topic, but I just got a copy of the local street press and some girl wrote in about how she was at the after parties on both nights after the KOL/Strokes gig and the BDO (I don't know who she is tho), and she was really pissed at the Strokes (even though she initially was so excited to see em) and their attitude cuz they were apparently baggin Perth and bitching about how boring it is and how they couldn't score any coke. And then she wrote, "So, Fab Moretti, you totally deserved that slap I gave you for dissing my town, and you'd do well to stop having a cry about it - because mate, crying is for babies, as we say in Australia."
OOH ARRR! I wonder if she really did slap Fab! I mean, I noticed Fab and Julian were kinda just stading around but I didn't realise they were that bored. Anyway, I just hope that the KOL boys did not share the same attitude cuz it would really suck if they decided never to come back here or something. Dear God! The horror! Perth can't be that bad...I mean, Jared scored with two chicks on the same night (I am assuming).
Admittedly, Perth would seem like dullsville to a bunch of New Yorkers like the Strokes, but please! You'd think they'd appreciate being able to come to the other side of the world to play for people that dug their music...
Anyway, the reviews I have read for both KOL's and The Strokes' performances here have said the same thing, that KOL were way better and more passionate and raw with their music, and that the Strokes were simply going through the motions....so that gives me some sort of consolation.
Heeehhee, sorry, had to vent. Hahaha....

Well yeah u would 'think' they would appreciate it! that pretty much sickens me actually and proves to me what i thought of that band all along! talking like that is just immature, arrogant and rude! not to mention disrespectful!! oh diidums u can't get any coke poor poor u how about actually loving the fact that u r playing for people who love your music? they should of been happy that they just played a gig for fans who by the sounds of it, don't get the chance often to watch them live. fuck!! i'm gonna shut up soon b/c i'm trying here to not yell ..... so i shall don't diss Perth!!! i've never been there but they should appreciate the fact that, not every single place on earth is as interesting or as exciting as NY ... and NY ent that great it's a city take a walk down to the beach next time guys, find a little cove and call it your won and then appreciate Perth. no seriously i'm

;Dhee hee...thanks for being mad with me I've calmed down now, although I don't think I can listen to my Strokes CD just yet. I'm not that patriotic a person, but I just can't stand people who don't realise how good they got it...annoys me highly. I heard that the guitarist, Nick went to school with Paris Hilton, and that some the boys are actually from pretty well off families or something...which would kinda explain why they try so hard to be "real" retro rocker types, for some street cred...all this is speculation of course...I will stop discussing the Strokes now...yay for Kings of Leon! There will be an interview airing sometime this week on MTV's most Wanted on MTV Australia...I hope to catch it. Caleb is wearing my fave tight striped jumper....mmm

i just heard that green day are confirmed for splendour. gross. but i also heard the dandy are coming aswell, which is making me feel abit better about green day.
thats kinda shocking about the strokes, they seem like nice guys. if they were really insulting perth, thats horible. you'd think that would have some kinda respect for others cities, and had learnt not to diss them in front of the people that live there. im a huge strokes fan, so that was kinda disipointing.
