Hello there, I just heard the radio edit of California Waiting on Radio One, and its all different. Its still good, but its much quieter and the bit where he goes all crazy at the end isn't there. When it started i thought it was a diff song. Why has it been rerecorded? The same thing happened with Wasted Time, but a bit more subtlely. And when i bought the Wasted Time single it was the original version on there, so i really don't see the point at all. Anyone got any ideas about why this is.......  |

Oh for fucks sake dnt tell me they hav released a fucking *twiddles fingers + rolls eyes* a fucking radio friendly version of it!!! jeesssss everytime i listen to the ep version i jst wanna say to caleb 'wat is it boy, c’mon jst say it, let it all out!’ and on the album version he actually does, its so great!! do u remember when we were talking about this sarah?
The ep version is really great and i think I actually do like it, but the album version jst kicks it soooooooooooooooo much fucking more!! (plus the drums snd a hell of a lot better!) the album version is far more honest in my opinion, b/c it jst snds like he's actually singing it the way that he feels about it, whereas the ep version snds like he's modifying or dampening it dwn somehow, that instead of singing it for himself or them i shld really say singing it for themselves they're singing it for the listener and yeah i s'pose that's a gd thing to make the music accessible (or sth) but i think they shld do it theway they wanna do it and if the person listening doesn't like it then that's really jst too bad. I mean maybe they are singing it on both versions they way tehy wanna sing it but i dunno i wldn't agree. I jst think the album version is more honest!! AND HONESTY IS FAR MORE REAL AND IMPORTANT!... and I think the album version deserves to become the ‘known’ version b/c of these reasons but dnt listen to me b/c I dnt make any sense

yes i do remember  i really love both versions but i think they should release the album version, i mean why bother changing it if they're just gonna release the old one anyway. or they could maybe release one version as the a-side and stick the other one on as a b-side? hmmm... it's not even getting released til february so we'll have to wait until then to find out anyways.

I jst can't make up my mind about the ep version. I dunno, i only said what i said b/c that has always been the way I personally feel about it and the feel i have always got from it and if you can't say what you feel well whats the point of saying anything. Who knows?!...I dnt!...
