For all you Brits... Are you guys familiar with the 22-20s? Well I was at a show at the Double Door in Chicago where they were opening for The Features. After the show, we got to meet the bassist Glen and the lead singer Martin. I'm an American and so me and my friend were swooning over the accents all nite. If you guys would be interested I can show pictures and give you more details. It was a really cool nite, we were with them at a bar until last call talking about music, life, everything. Oh, and their music is pretty cool too haha.

They opened up for the Kings and Jet in 2003... I was more impressed by them than I was by Jet.

I haven't listened to them all that much, I was gonna go to one of their concerts a couple of months ago, but for some reason -- can't remember why -- it didn't end up happening. anyway, like I said, I don't know much about them but I think Shoot Your Gun is a brilliant song.

I don't know much about them but I think Shoot Your Gun is a brilliant song. Here here! That song got much airplay at my last cowboy party due to it's gun-themed awesomeness and ability to prompt some very stylish showdowns Bring on the 22-20 love!

22-20's Rock! They opened for the Kings at Bonnaroo this year and blew me away. Their new album is killer...everyone who likes the detroit scene of blues rock will enjoy the kick of the 22-20's

I think their most recent full length album -non import- is just called 22-20's. Some really good live recordings on their Live Japan, and their EP is excellent "Why Don't You Do It For Me?"

Ok, 22-20's played a show in my home town last night. They were amazing, just like before. They know their shit, rockn with some excellent Blues. Got to meet the lead singer briefly after the show, he didn't seem to care about anything...just his burger...and going back inside for some AC. It was very uneventful, and disappointing. Not that he should be required to talk to fans and actually enjoy hearing how brilliant they are, but c'mon...I was being polite and sincere...and it had been hours since they played so I thought it'd be ok to "pester" him for a few minutes...his road manager did most of the talking. Meh, hopefully I'll meet them all again under cheerier circumstances. Im certain they're all super nice, the last time we met them (a few moments really) they were all really sweet. Not very chatty though. I guess their a bit shy.
