i think your best bet is to get there early hang about outside until they arrive then try and talk to them about it... they're pretty good about guestlisting people from what i've heard either that or try and talk to larry (the tour manager) |

I THINK im going to be there...unless I can't take SAT this weekend.......I'm carving my KOL linoleum piece like a maniac now because it's due tomorrow and I think I'm getting an arthritis.  They'd better appreciate this!!!! i hope I can finish this in time.. it's going to be a big piece..... somehow, Jared in my piece resembles Lizard King. If things work out as I have planned(perfect scheme) I would be going to 5 concerts next week. (watch me pass out at tower, ann) gooodddddd I need sleep.....I'lll look like this -> @_@ in my yr picture tomorrow. I'm MEETING(not seeing them live) them for 4th time this year alone.....damn...I'm sick of their hirsute hotness...  they'll hold the record for most number of shows ive been to, along with Adam Green, after two shows.(although Adam Green will break it since I'll see him later this month with the thrills) anyways. it'll be fun. IT'd better be fun. I'm getting cranky now. I'm getting boogie fever at PEaches concert later today. WOO HOO! (im going to die of tiredness) see you at the show ann. |

sure of course.
I just found out yday that the piece won't be finished by next week because 1. It's killing my hands, 2. I'll be going to SIX concerts next week including 2 of their shows, 3. my art teacher told us that it would be a long term process.
so what we'll do for now is first print it on a translucent paper and we'll do multiple prints on cloth or heavy paper and do some additional works on it(example- collage)
I'm about to die because my hands are hurting like hell and I started my saturday class today only to find out i'll be (again) carving MORE and MORE lenoleum/wood for 13 weeks! (Damn my hands are going to fall off)
anyhoo, so I guess I will just give kings a print of the piece(i'm thinking of only making 20~30 prints) for now and give them the finished multiple print thing when they come back. I'm thinking of printing them 9 times on a cloth with black and red and grey ink(website color) and write some lyrics over some faces....( i think I'll do trani/wickerchair. hell, the WHOLE ALBUM...:]) then decorate them with fake vines.. I don't know why, but when I think of them, I think of trees...maybe it's because of their hillbilly looks lol but yea, the block is 12 * 12 so i guess ill take PICTURE of the print and post it up + i definitely have to take picture of multiple print piece because im planning on making gigantic piece( im even thinking of 5 ft by 2ft)
anyways, yea....i should stop typing so i can carve more :]

ive cut down to 4 shows cuz 1. i couldnt get guestlisted for one show(guestlist-only show) 2. I realized that im too skint to spend $25 on 30 min set. ahhh i want to see devendra!!!  it's already tomorrow! wait, TODAY!(since its past midnight) DAMN DAMN DAMN! and im NOT DONE with my lenoleum!!! the show was great! the strokes were amazing as usual..gonna try to go see all them in nyc at the end of the month as well
