Now that we've heard Come Around Sundown, how do you work the new songs into the set list for the tour in November? Pick 21 songs and a 4 song encore (same amount as Hyde Park I believe).
Mine still starts out with Crawl, with the fuzz bass transitioning into No Money:
Crawl No Money The Immortals Fans Radioactive King of the Rodeo Mary Happy Alone Four Kicks Pyro Closer Be Somebody Slow Night, So Long Pony Up Sex On Fire Taper Jean Girl The Bucket Birthday Knocked Up Trani
Back Down South Arizona Use Somebody Black Thumbnail

Any setlist that has Arizona in it is a perfect setlist for me.
I do hope they will play lots of CAS songs because I'm tired of hearing the same songs all the time when they have so many great songs most of us haven't heard live yet. It would be nice to hear all the new songs plus some of the older songs that have been absent from their setlists for a while.
I could do without Be Somebody and Use Somebody and would add Manhattan and Wicker Chair to your setlist instead.

I don't see them playing Be Somebody over Molly's Chambers.
I'm really hoping they play a bit longer of a set. Maybe extend the set past an hour and a half on to two hours or even just an hour and 45 minutes.

It seems I've heard they say they hate playing Molly's Chambers. I hope they decide to just drop it from the set list. They have my permission. LOL

Yeah I'm really not gonna miss Molly's Chambers from the setlist if they drop it. If they could just rotate Red Morning Light/Wasted Time/Joe's Head/Holy Roller Novocaine + Trani at every show that would be fine by me.
And I threw Use Somebody and Sex On Fire in there because they are pretty much contractually obligated to play those songs forever. It sucks but yeah. But really, by the time they usually get around to playing it, I'm hammered drunk and Use Somebody is a welcome sound. People just making out everywhere...haha.

Haha. Use Somebody and Sex on Fire are two of my least favorite songs, but I was screaming every word at the top of my lungs at the show. For some reason they add something to the show. But, the poor boys will be playing those for the rest of their lives.

Here we go...Boston tonight:
Mary Crawl Molly's Chambers Radioactive Fans Revelry Immortals The Bucket Closer Four Kicks No Money Notion Pyro On Call Back Down South Knocked Up Use Somebody
The End Sex On Fire Black Thumbnail
--- Oh boy. Why are Revelry and Notion still on there instead of Trani or any other song in their discography for that matter?

Wow. 5 albums and only a 20 song set, and still going to play songs like Revelry and Notion over something like Charmer, Taper Jean Girl, or Trani?
And no Pickup Truck!? And all the same songs they played during the summer tour other than the new songs? Seems almost like complacency...

I'm trying to not be disappointed over something so silly, but this is getting stupid. Stop playing Notion, Revelry, Molly's Chambers (I know you are probably contractually obligated to play US and SOF for the rest of your lives, Kings) and instead play King Of The Rodeo, Trani, Charmer, SNSL, etc. Is it too much to ask for a little spontaneity?

I have to say, I agree with you guys Why bring back Revelry of all songs? 'Specially in the middle of all those faster songs And saving Sex on Fire till the encore is very out-of-form, they tend to get that one out of the way rather quickly don't they?

I also agree. Don't get me wrong, I will be thrilled to see them play anything live, I love all their songs. But I do wish they would change it up a bit, bring back some of the older stuff that we never get to hear. There are so many stellar songs that could replace the ones that are played at every show.

SOF usually comes in right near the end of the main set. It kinda starts off a few of the faster songs that eventually dies down into the softer song that builds up to the end (Cold Desert, Slow Night, So Long, Trani). Apparently Manhattan was supposed to be on the setlist, before Use Somebody, but they dropped it.

I think it would be better if they also swapped out the ASH singles they always play for other songs on that album.

I'm actually very happy about them playing Revelry again. But I agree that it seems like a random choice when you consider that there are so many songs us fans have been demanding to hear live for ages. Can't believe they didn't play Pick Up Truck. I hope this isn't going to be another Arizona that I won't ever get to hear live Glad they added No Money and The End, though!

I actually love Revelry, so I'm cool with that being on there. I suppose Notion's still on there, cos it was a single, but I wouldn't mind seeing that replaced with an oldie (Wasted Time, Spiral Staircase or so). Proper shame that Pickup Truck wasn't in there last night, but I'm very pleased to see No Money made it to the live show!

Yawn
Do we really still need On Call? And Notion? Not to mention Molly's Chambers?
Oh well. Not going to any concerts any time soon, so it doesnt really matter.

I'm glad to see No Money in there! I wont say anything else because there's tons of songs I'd like to see them play but I know they never will. (I do agree with what's been said though) I will just think myself lucky that by this time next year, I would have seen them at least 3 times.
