Ok i don't know if anybody has noticed but i was watching the bonaroo videos, and i noticed there is a real piano played in notion, and after watching the backstage photos, i noticed there is a fifth guy getting to the stage with the rest of the band, obviously he is not nacho, is this guy in the middle - www.closertokol.com/apps/photos/photo?photoid=87518185 - i don't know if anybody knows who this guy is, maybe someone who attended to bonaroo concert could tell me who was playing the real piano/keyboards on the songs, cause last time i saw kings of leon there were no real keyboards played, except from on call that jared plays in the microkorg, and the intro in fans that it's also shoot from the microkorg, but is this guy who is it, cause it's not a tech. i would really appreciate your answers

I believe his name's Chris Coleman, he's the same quy that was the victim of Nathan's spicy wings in the Home Movies Day 8!

He's been playing keyboards & a bit of extra percussion in the few shows they've had so far, quite why they feel they need him is another question, but that's who he is

I think for the new album, they have songs which have violins and trumpets and things of that sort, and I guess he'll be playing all those instruments.
Maybe they are taking him around to get used to him, and have him get used to playing big venues. That would be my guess.

He won't be an official member of the band...
if they're just using this guy as an extra to take on tour and for the album, he's not a member. a lot of bands do this. although, I never saw KOL doing it...

I think it's cool that this guy's there, if they've got different instruments on the new record then it's great that they're trying to incorporate them live, rather than just putting them on a backing track

he'll probably be a tour member, not a real band member.

a lot of bands have extra members when they're on tour, ppl who play a few added instruments. when i saw placebo in 2007 they had 2 extra guitar players (+ piano at a few times...), you could hardly see them but they were there and just played their instruments.

i think its cool they've chosen someone they already knew and not a totally new person. they're probably so close already, he feels like another family/band member

SOMEBODY..... it might have been the same guy, played with the Kings last night at the show in Noblesville, IN.

He definitely played GUITAR on My Party. It looked like he played some keyboards and maybe some other stuff on Mary as well. He was to the right of Nathan's drum riser, and pretty much sayed put.

A little moving and shaking during My Party, but he was not trying to be consipicuous or draw attention to himself.

Yea it's the same guy at all the shows. As Jess said in the first reply, his name is Chris Coleman and he's been friends with the band for quite a while.
He's most likely also the other guy in the dance off video.
