i have been appreciating nathan's tweets lots.
when OBTN was being recorded, we had no news of them...no new pix, no interviews, nothing! it was like the Dark Ages. i was seriously a tad bit depressed.
i'm hoping that this next album will solidify my favorite band as the truly talented men that they are and not just this SOF machine many new fans have created in their heads. either way, i'll still love them.

Loving the journo screw ups with the whole beachy vs. darker thing... one reporter latches onto ONE thing and they all report the same mistake - effing hilarious.
Personally, the beachy thing has me v. excited - Fleet Foxes bringing us a whole hippy mountain-dwelling Beach Boys had me in quivers but THIS... woah this....is sounding laaaahvely.

i think KOL doing a "beachy" sound will be amazing! nathan has said in the past his favorite albu was the beach boys! in a newer interview with caleb he clarifies the beachy description and says they're fun beachy songs but done their way. also the thin lizzy comparisons has got me all hot and bothered |
