According to Nathan's twitter, KOL have officially begun recording their 5th album! I also read somewhere that they are recording in New York instead of Tennessee this time around. And does anyone know if they are doing the home movies again?

Yep, this was their 3rd day in the studio. I think that's right about NY. Nathan was definitely talking about being in NYC not long ago. 'Fraid I have no idea about the movies. I'd love more, but I'm not expecting any. So excited for the album, I'll be the one standing outside HMV at 7am on the day of release so that I don't miss out

Yeah. I'm unsure on whether or not they'll be doing them again since they aren't recording at home.
I wish there was already a known release date because I would be counting down the seconds!!!

Its funny how journalists all reports about Nathan tweets, are they going to report each of his tweets every time he posts ? Lol, because even though I am impatient about the new record I dont necessarily want to hear about it every day of the week. I wish they could do a total U-turn and really start to record what they want/like and not what the sex somebody want to hear, Caleb is a fan of old country, I want to hear that, I want to hear something in the line of Wicker Chair, thats a kick ass song. Rambling, sorry, but you get the drift
KOL are a kick ass band with the potential of being even more kick ass, just wished they could ged rid of that 'Fame and hype' buzz

They said they were going to country it up a bit, I hope they will. I'm all excited about this and I love hearing Nathan's tweets, some really make me laugh

COME ON! they have so many even GREATER songs, give them a f*ckin chance... sorry

That's just it, they have AMAZING songs, a thousand times better than SOF and use somebody, and none of the radio stations play them, I will never understand it.

So excited for the album, I'll be the one standing outside HMV at 7am on the day of release so that I don't miss out I find if you pre-order it from HMV.co.uk (or .com? the UK site anyway) a couple of weeks/months before you usually get it the day before the release. May just be because of where I live, but I've never had one come later than the day of release (usually they come 1/2 days before release), and the last one I pre-ordered from HMV.com was out on a Monday and I got it the Friday before... just thought it may be worth tipping people off about this in case anyone was unaware...

Since we're talking about music, I dont get this obsession about Use somebody, I dont dislike the song, although its far from being my favourite on OBTN, but if you compare it to Sex on Fire, its very long life span (as opposed to Sex on fire) surprises me, every 'in' (and even 'out') artists have covered it, much to our annoyance lol, why is that ? Sorry, its probably more of a rethorical question.

^^^^ LMAO. Follohill brothers. That sounds about right. And I don't know if they will make more HMs. I mean, now that they have such a HUGE fanbase, I'm sure they'll be much more hesitant in recording their personal lives for such a huge number of people to see. The old videos were really for their long-time fanbase and they didn't anticipate hundreds of thousands of people out of that fanbase to watch the vids. And if they do, they'd probably edit it or manipulate their daily activities to make it more "commercially" entertaining (as if talking with your mama about semen in ball sacks isn't friggen entertainment enough).

Haha I know, that's my favorite one... where they're all standing around talking about "sitting on my kids".
One can only hope (hopin') that they do something like that again, those were like little presents!

And we all love little presents. We just have to wait and see, but hopefully it wasnt a one off. I seriously cant wait to hear what theyve come up with in the studio...I reckon its going to be pretty immense, I just have a feeling.

I'm sort of reluctant to preorder in case it doesn't come on the release date. I think I'd rather go into town and have my grubby little hands on it the day it comes out, cos knowing my luck it'd be a day or two late and everyone else would be talking about it! I kind of think it'll be exciting anyway, I've never been so desperate for an album before that I literally wanted to queue if necessary!
