Well the last time NME posted a rumor, Nathan went on Twitter and announced that it was just a rumor. That happened the day the rumor was posted on NME so I guess we will have to see if Nathan tweets that its just a rumor.

As far as I know he's been asked about it on Twitter and has neither denied nor confirmed. Which might be a good indication that there's truth to the rumours..

on Twitter, a blog called Nashville Cream said this: "Update: Kings of Leon not opening for The Features at Exit/In."
so I don't think theyre opening for them. I understand this band is on their label, but really, why would Kings of Leon be opening?! aren't they a bit too big to be opening for a band? I think so anyway.

Well, i'd rather believe The Mirror than Nashville Cream. They HATE KOL (being part of Nashville Scene). Pretty much everything they say is automatically discarded as being legit. Who knows. They might want to run some new songs by people. Create a "buzz". I doubt that Nate will say either way. If he says yes, obviously people will just come for KOL. Yet if he wants to build up interest, he would be smart to say nothing. So people come and see what happens. They might also perform AFTER the features. SO the audience hear the band, and get KOL for desert.

regardless, The Features are amazing! I absolutely adore them. Their drummer Rollum...whoa! haha. Besides...it's not like the ticket itself was $50 bucks or anything. You're only out $2.25 for buying one ahead of time. I think it's well worth it anyway.
A part of me says yes I think they will play, but then the other part of me says no. Maybe Nathan hasn't replied because they only wanna see people there for the Features or something. Who knows...I'm just rambling anyway. Sorry. :-P

I think Nathan is going to keep this info a secret Even if they don't play, it wouldn't suprise me if they at least make an appearance. Carrie, Nik and no1kolfan, I hope they do play! Can you imagine if you guys get to hear some new songs?!? I'll be so jealous!

ah your all so lucky getting to see the Features!!! They are so great live, and such nice blokes too!!!
(p.s.to someone who said why would the kings open, well if they actualy did, and who knows, then maybe it would be just a little repayment for the Features having toured and supported them for many years back in 2004/2005)

The gospel according to Nashville Scene:
Across the pond, The Daily Mirror reported last week (in an article containing the phrase "yee-hah!") that Kings of Leon will be opening for The Features at Exit/In Feb. 5, as a way of celebrating their signing The Features to their new label imprint. (KOL's 429 Records re-released The Features' Some Kind of Salvation last year.) According to The Features' management, this is not true, and Majestico and Cortney Tidwell will open the show. Eager KOL fans have been known to show up anyway, though — just ask the folks at Mercy Lounge.

I really didn't think that the guys would open for The Features, but I'm glad that at least the show sold out for them. They need more money!! lol
p.s. I'm pretty sure that one or more of the Followills will show up to the show even if they aren't opening for them. I could be wrong, but in the past I've always spotted at least one of them. But please don't come for that, come to see The Features, they really are worth it!!

Michelle, just admit that you are on KOL's payroll as a PR person for The Features!
