i only lost half a pound, im really gutted and thinking about speaking to my doctor because i dont think im losing much weight and im trying really hard.

I can relate, once my body gets used to the diet that I'm on and the lifestyle change, my body dont lose weight as rapidly from before. Try not to give up, and yes the doctor will probably suggest a few things to help speed things up!

try a new workout routine! sometimes our bodies get used to a certain workout and it becomes normal to our body and doesn't have the same effect. you've done so great! keep it up! like curly said i'm sure the doctor will have some good tips! i've been trying to make it to the gym on a regular basis! (and stay there once i get there!) i've been doing a good job so far! i've made it every other day which is a vast improvment from where i was!

^Hey thats good, every other day is a mission, karma when I can for your dedication. Are you finding it easier now on the treadmill? On the whole I've been doing not so bad, managed to lose about an inch off my waist over the last few weeks which was a nice surprise. Saying that though I am getting a bit bored of my diet and have been seduced by chocolate orange and wine tonight Back on the wagon tomorrow? (maybe)

walking/jogging 4-6 miles daily. So far, so good.

Very impressed guys, think we should be calling this the Bonnaroo diet Just wait till old Lebby sees our skinny pins, hehe Finally tried out the power plate yesterday and today (incidentally it's called Flab-e-los over here ) It was seriously the weirdest thing ever, being jiggled about all over the place while you try to stand still. Didnt feel much afterwards yesterday though I went for my normal run later on and it did seem much harder. Turned the machine up to full today and my legs were kinda tingling, so it must be good for your circulation somehow. So I guess my verdict is it might be good for cellulite/a bit of toning in addition to other exercise but as for being as good as an hour in the gym - pfffft, doubt it! Have a few more sessions left as I signed up for a week so if I miraculously drop a dress size I'll let ya know P.S. any other suggestions for your excercise/fad diet guinea pig will be happily tried out

Uh oh! This thread needs to be revamped! Hows everyone going on with their diets and exercise regimes?? Iv started my diet (again) it's quite strict so hopefully I'll lose a few pounds this week.

Well done for losing the 10 pounds the 2nd time round, its difficult to relose weight that you have recently lost, trust me I know I done 20 minutes on the exercise bike today so quite proud of myself considering I havnt been on that thing for months!

I'm not loosing any pounds, but I have ridden 30 kilometres today by bike. Does that count as a fitness activity?
