I'm a big Lancome mascara girl - Hypnose, Fatale & Virtouse are amazing. Max Factor False Lash Effect Mascara is amazing too and leaves your eyelashes really soft instead of that rock-hard feeling which I hate. I use Body Shop's Vitamin E skincare range for my face - cleanser, toner, moisturiser- etc but recently Ive been thinking that, because I do that whole routine twice sometimes three (I know, weird) times a day I would like to use something even more natural. Any one any recommendations? Have looked in to Philosophy, Ole Henrikenson, Dr Hauska, Liz Earle - anyone use any of them? Oooohh I love Lancome's Hypnose too Well I've been using Lush products for ages and ages!! I love their fresh face masks and I think their range of cleansers, toners, moisturisers etc is really great!! They only use natural ingredents. They're so helpful in the shop and really know what they're talking about! The bath bombs are unreal too They only have 3 shops in Ireland as far as I know..2 in Dublin and 1 in Cork!! More widespread in the UK I think!!

Cool thread Skin:Glycolic acid is your friend. It keeps your pores clear (buy it in lotion form). DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT use St. Ives Apricot Scrub. No matter what anyone says. It is made of CHUNKS of apricot shell that cause little tears in your skin, which as you get older will contribute to wrinkles. Just stay away from it. Clarisonic brushes are good. That's beneficial exfoliation right there. Hair:I'm obsessed with coconut oil. It's one of only two oils that are known to actually penetrate the hair shaft (not just sit on top of the strands like most conditioners). Use it on wet hair once a week, shampoo it out after an hour, and condition normally. Put a deep conditioner in wet hair before you lay out by the pool. The heat helps it sink in. Use a clarifying shampoo once (or more depending on your hair) a week. It helps all products do their job. I know a lot of little tips/information from years of trying to de-uglify myself so I'll probably add a lot more when I think of them...

i agree with Savanna... the apricot scrub may seem great NOW... but you'll regret it later! never use a fruit based face scrub!!! always use an exfoliator that's round and not sharp and pointy!
lol probably the ONLY beauty tip i know... i'm STILL trying to de-uglify myself!

Gosh velvet touch eyeliner is the best. Really good colours stays on all day and its waterproof Also If you have wet nail polish put your nails in cold water and it dries them

Cool thread! Though I dont think i have anything to contribute being that i m into "natural" everything. But i seriously believe that all you need for good skin is really cold water once a day, to shrink your pores, and a good run down with olive oil for hydration, along with a slathering of lemon juice, to tighten the skin. (look at me, i sound as if i m making salad dressing! )

Just be careful with the lemon juice. It's wayyy to harsh to be put on skin IMO, but if you really want to, at least dilute it with water. And if you have sensitive skin, don't even try it.

Dark circles have a few explanations. What it is is blood pooling under your eyes (gross) combined with the thin skin. They're basically bruises, and that's what bruises are. Either you're not getting enough sleep (duh), you have a poor liver, or they're hereditary.
Clearly if they're from lack of sleep, sleep is the only thing that can help. If it's due to a poorly functioning liver, a diet change, supplements, and exercise can help. But, if it's genetic, there's nothing you can do about it.
It could of course be a combination of any of these.
As far as I know, although thousands are marketed, there aren't any creams/gels/etc. that really make a difference.

CRAP it's probably my cursed genes!!! although they get better and worse sometimes... so maybe it's just sleep less HA, more sleep? no no that can't be right... i'm also 99% sure i'm going bald... i'm gonna be bald with racoon eyes sav your like a walking (or typing i guess) glamour mag... maybe you should start a beauty blog like everyone said alisa should do

For thinning hair, biotin supplement is the only thing that supposedly works. (Caleb, i know it's your favourite thread, so take note, my man!) But really, when I lost all that weight, I lost a lot of my hair along with it, and it really began to grow back once I started taking biotin. Coke helps with weight loss. Not that i speak from experience or suggest that anyone do it!
