Lol I’m sorry but I just can’t support a bunch of overpaid idiotic twats. Not to mention the fact they play boring football. Internationals are not a step up I’m afraid, plus I’d much rather support a nation whose players I know nothing about!

^haha I love supporting Scotland because nobody really expects much so its just an excuse to have a party and the banter and the atmosphere's great!! I don't like when 'people' take it too seriously - it just takes the fun out of it!! When Scotland go out i just pick a random team to support!!

I like picking a random team and cheering them on, its good while it lasts! At least you don't cry when they lose - you don't do you? lol I hate it when the BBC or ITV get proper devasted when England go out even though its inevitable - kinda like Murray

Looks like Ireland might just make it to the World Cup this year!
I don't understand the English national team myself - it's controlled by the press and because of that they've barely had any new players in the starting 11 these last 5 years.

^ I know its always the same players who are the 'favourites'! They hardly ever pick the players that are actually in form. I don't know why I get so wound up about it myself.
Ireland are in quite a good position, I reckon they'll get there!

Easy group in all fairness - other then Italy, but we've handled them well (soooo unlucky not to have beaten them in Bari).
The problem is we don't have Stephen Ireland and Trap refuses to pick Andy Reid - so we're left with the midfield pairing of Keith Andrews and Glen Whelan. The most uncreative and average midfield pairing in Europe...

Where do you stand on McGeady Sean?

He's our best midfielder and should be starting every match.

I just find him so frustrating to watch. He gets in good positions on the wing but his deliveries/crosses in to the box are terrible. I miss the days when Duffer was on fire Think I'm gonna go to SA if we qualify.

When Scotland go out i just pick a random team to support!! That's a lie actually - im half irish (my dad's full blown!) so i support them second but they're usually out too But if either Scotland or Ireland make it i'll cheer them on - i also like Sweden for some strange reason

^ Probably because the Swedes always end up in the same group as England I reckon!

I was so thrilled when Spain won the European Championships last year. They are hyped up every time but never lived up to it so I was delighted when they finally done it last year. For some reason I also like to see Italy winning (except next month in Croker that is )

Duff on form = one of the best wingers in the Premiership, but how long has he been average at best now? His recent performances are looking more like the Duff of old though, so if he keeps improving his fitness, who knows.
McGeady has a problem with that alright - I think his problem is he needs more competition to improve (which may be why Trap is making him work to take the wing off Hunt) - playing teams like Patrick Thistle and Motherwell for most of the season don't work Celtic to hard.
I hate when Italy win - their football is sooooo boring.

Italy's football can be boring but they are the masters of defending, particular defending a lead. I'm watching them playing Bulgaria and the moment and they are so impressive without being spectacular. Awh, the memories of the Duffer of old make me smile. I remember being in Malaysia for the World Youth Cup (when Ireland finished third in the world) and he was the youngest member of the squad but boy did he stand head and shoulders above the rest. Aside from all his injury troubles I really think Jose Mourinho was the ruination of him

Yet again its glorious failure Sometimes its really hard supporting Scotland (and Celtic!) I hope Burley stays though, i think he's honest and hard-working and he'll eventually put it right!!

I can't believe Uefa changed their minds about the blatant Eduardo dive just because Arsene Wenger threw a strop!!! I'm sooo angry about this - it was him in the first place that said the SFA had influence at Uefa HQ but quite clearly its him!
