all the touring is probably just getting to them. and by them i mean caleb. when i saw them, someone threw a shoe at jared's head and he just laughed it off; and this is JARED, the one who hates touring more than anything else.

Well the more I read and see. To me it seems that they just want to hang out in the UK with their girls (as they are doing), and yesterday they had to fly out to Rotterdam and it feels like they really did not feel like doing that, as they couldn't be out of there fast enough. But you know that all comes with touring, they did book the shows so. Only some euro shows are left now, the 'big ones' have passed and I think they really just want a holiday now. I have read some realllyyyyyy bad online reactions though, they def have not gained any fans with this (in The Netherlands). What a shame. The press really only speak of them walking off cos Caleb didn't like the crowd. But then I read the replies Nathan gets and I'm like wow yeah, with those reactions, no wonder they would not care. They have people worshipping them and siding with them without even having been there or knowing what happened People are so odd.

I had decided not to go because I absolutely hate the venue. I think the sound usually sucks, it takes me a lot of effort to travel there (3 trains like Marcella, plus a bus ride and depending on other people's help all the time) and when I buy a ticket I already know I'm gonna be way in the back at the wheelchair balcony where I can't see shit. At least, I don't think that one centimeter moving puppets that I must assume are the band I love, is all that great. Knowing I wouldn't have a good concert experience with bad sound and bad view, I just didn't get a ticket (and hope they'll come back to HMH again next time). Still, last night I was a bit jittery, cursing myself for not going, thinking I'm maybe a bit stubborn for boycotting a venue (even though I know I'd hate my view if I did go). And then I read all these pages and see the videos. I think I would've cried if I had gone. Yes it was hot as hell, yes the SOF-fans are annoying, yes throwing beer isn't cool, but hey, throwing a hissy fit isn't either. And what's up with flying back to England early when today is a day off? They could've taken an early morning flight today. I am not saying they don't deserve a day off (they obviously do and really seem to need them too), but knowingly cut a show short to catch an early flight is also not fair. Having said all that, I loved seeing the videos, it seemed like a good show, it's not like they deliberately fucked up the songs or so. Sveni's pics are great too. I hope tomorrow's show at Werchter will be better (i.e. more fun for them, and thus for the crowd) and I'll just keep my fingers crossed that they'll still want to come back to Holland for the next album when all the SOF-fans have ditched them, so they're forced to play a smaller venue again.

Ok, I was there and I couldn't care less by now. I think Caleb acted like a spoiled little brat (not that I noticed during the concert itself), but however we are dealing with people here. I, for one, have definitely gone down on Caleb a lot. But I believe in second chances and music-wise the concert was good and so were the other guys. Especially Matt was really into it. However I am sick of "fans" and Caleb looking down on the so-called SOF-fans. Who cares if someone knows all your songs by heart or just go to your concert to hear SOF? They all paid the same amount of money for the tickets! They pay for your nice little homes and cars and motorcycles blablabla. And you would make even more money if you didn't piss off your own fans, new or old. SOF and US probably made them millionaires. I would personally be more proud of writing a song that apparently millions of people enjoy than making money off girls who only come to my concert because I am so cute and sexy. So yeah, I give Caleb a second chance but if I go to another concert and he acts like this again I am totally DOWNLOADING their music next time!

Oh and I have one thing to add: if you don't want commercial fans, don't make a commercial album!

it wasnt really a shortened show. you just didnt get an encore. its up to them if they want to play the encore or not. they did their duty and thats all they had to do.
and it seems like calebs' smiles were more him seeing that how there were so many people there that just stood up for sof. the videos of the koln gig last winter that was on the radio show how shitty the crowd was and you could see how much more animated caleb was for that too with smiles and everything. so what im saying is that its more of a sarcastic smile and not a 'this crowd is great im havin fun' smile.
