who wants to hear my story?

i have a good one from the show in bham oct 13th.

so the show is incredible, duh, i orgasmed at least three times i think. caleb said we were awesome (kicked athens' ass, is how i think he put it). sang "ill take you home or back to alabama"!!! as you all know. nate bew bubbles while playing drums--hott. matthew was a badass and jared was as cute as ever!

so when they were done, my friend, jill, asks nacho for a set list. and she got it. he's so nice. but then we were haning out in the bar and the security people tell us we gotta leave. so me and andy and jill are trying to wait it out, but they practically shove us out the door. so then i have to leave b/c my ride is leaving. so i go get my car and i decide to head over to the nick w/ my friend where they would presumably be hanging out. but they weren't. so i go meet andy and jill at al's. depressed, we all start to head for home. but i decide to run back by the venue and just see if ther bus is there. and it was!!

so nacho is standing outside and i go up to him and am like "what are you up to, are ya'll hanging out?" he's like "yeh, hold on a sec, ill be back in two minutes." he goes back to the bus and i think oh, ok he just blew me off. so i wait just a few minutes and he comes back out w/ the cutest girl, mandy. and he's like "wanna go to the garage?" and im like hell yeh. so he GETS IN MY CAR!! and i drive him and mandy over to the garage... and the party starts.

sorry about that. i had a job interview to go to and company was coming.. etc. ( i have two kids---im 22, i know it's nuts!!)

ANYWAY... ok, so we are in the car (on the way to the garage) and i don't know where it is. i call andy to ask him if he knows where it is and he wants to talk to nacho, but my phone's about to die and nacho was on his phone trying to get directions. but luckily, for andy, nacho got off the phone, so i handed him mine. he talked to andy and then hands it back to me, i tell andy bye and it dies. so now i can't call anyone to get directions. so i go to the nick (another bar in bham) and we sit there until nacho's friend calls and tells us where to go (which was right around the corner--if only i had gone to bars when i lived in bham!!) so we finally get to the garage where caleb, matthew, jared, the girls from the like and like maybe 5 other people are. so im following nacho and mandy around feeling a little awkward, and i see caleb. he looks at me but keeps talking to the jessica simpson girl (lacie i soon found out). i'm in heaven walking around, but i had to go gather myself in the restroom (and stop following nacho). so then caleb's out there, on a scale in the hallway (i don't know this is a very eccentric bar) and i go "you self conscious?" or something really stupid like that, and he's all "nah, im just vain." so that was awkward, he goes to the b-room. i go up to z (from the like) and her best friend who's braiding her hair and im like "this is sooo weird" and they're like "we're just normal people." and im like i know but i don't really know anyone here. (wow that was a lot of "and im likes") haha sorry

so i decide to get a drink to make myself a little more comfortable and it also gave me something to do rather than sit there looking stupid. so i get my drink and start walking around this crazy-ass bar. it's really cool and i still feel weird walking around alone. so i walk up, again, to nacho and mandy, who are now with jared being silly. i ask what they're doing and jared said they were playing a drinking game? i said it sounded like fun and then we all decided to go get another drink. jared was so cute! so i get another and go sit by mandy and the girls talking to caleb. (jared is on his phone now, and until we leave the bar) nacho and caleb start playing snaps. a game i guess they made up. they try to guess what the name is that someone told the other person---and they always get it right. it's weirdly telepathic. like i told nacho (in his ear)"matt damon". nacho then turns to caleb who had walked away, just to prove he hadn't heard me, and starts snapping his fingers and saying "c'mon caleb, you know this" then caleb, goes "matt damon" it was weird!

i started talking to shanley (one of the girls--lacie's sister actually) and we hit it off and decided to go to the other end of the bar where matthew was. (we had to walk past jared (on the phone)) so we walk down there, engage in playful banter w/ matthew and they guys he was talking to and decide to go get one more drink. the bar was closing so i paid $10 for a double rum and coke. and it's all hazy after that... haha jk!

this was so long ago, im loving re-living it.

SO, we all go outside and caleb invites us back to the bus. so we all go to the bus. (jared is finally off his phone) and we're hanging out. they have chip bags everywhere, like baked lays! ha! and they give me a tour. the back room is def. the coolest. so i hung out there w/ nacho and jared a while. jared said he liked how i called him "jared" it was funny/cute/weird. he took some pics but i didn't give him my email. oops. then around 4 am they had to head for knoxville. so i say goodbye hug all their necks. then i followed them out of the parking lot, beaming.

That is cool stuff. Me and 4 others went to that show...security was kinda tough. I guess they thought we were gonna be a rowdy crowd. No need for all the yelling and almost shoving. That is great you got to hang out with the two bands. My friends and I are from Nashville. When we saw them at the Ryman there was a big afterparty at the cannery ballroom. It was a good time. Glad you had a blast in B'Ham it was a good show.
